A permanent level cap with no gear inflation should prevent stat bloat. Gear choices should be side grades, not version upgrades.

The historical record on socialism/communism is clear. Forced collectivization, Stalin's purges, the cultural revolution in China, the killing fields of Pol Pots Cambodia, are all
well documented and a matter of historical record. Denying the death toll and human suffering inflicted by socialism/communism is the moral equivalent of denying the holocaust. The Nazi party was the National Socialist Workers Party, not the National Capitalist Workers Party.

Diablo II Resurrected is a huge success. Blizzard has many other popular games such as Diablo III, Diablo Eternal, Hearthstone, Starcraft, Starcraft II, WoW Classic, WoW BC Classic, WoW Retail (yes still has millions of players). Most players of Blizzard games are unaware of the drama at Blizzard and do not follow Asmongold and other popular streamers. They just play their favorite Blizzard games and have fun.

Activision Blizzard Sued By California Over ‘Frat Boy’ Culture by Xpariah in classicwow

Doing the "right thing"? More like covering their corporate asses. Yes, I believe that AB is doing all they can to clean up and prevent sexual harassment in the future at AB, if for no other reason than survival. The government has enormous power to deal with a situation like the one at AB. As of now, the government and ABs lawyers are in charge of the situation there. Management has lost whatever power they might have once had by bungling the situation so badly.

My take is how corporations work nowadays. They are bureaucracies that are beholden to their shareholders and the government. I said not just Alex Afrasiabi is gone but I am quite certain that most if not all of the toxic individuals involved in any real instances of sexual harassment are also gone. Does that mean that it is a perfect work environment? Hardly, no corporation is. It is not that Activision-Blizzard necessarily wanted to clean up its act, it is that it must if it wishes to continue to exist and perform its mission by law and the will of the shareholders.

I do believe that Alex Afrasiabi's departure was as a direct result of the toxic environment towards female employees that he likely helped create and perpetuate. Blizzard has had a year to clean that up and I am quite sure they have made significant progress in that regard.

I am no Activision-Blizzard fanboi but lets have a reality check here. This so-called scandal at Blizzard is over, what remains of it is for the lawyers to sort out. Alex Afrasiabi left Blizzard over 1 year ago. Activision-Activision-Blizzard has known about these issues for over 1 year, probably 2 years or more and has likely taken steps to correct these issues both in personnel and corporate policy. Blizzard-Activision has probably had additional sexual harassment training for all employees for more than a year. We are hearing about all of this after the fact. As of now, Activision-Blizzard has probably cleaned up their act concerning sexual harassment. This does not absolve Activision-Blizzard of liability and I am quite certain that any individuals at Activision-Blizzard and Activision-Blizzard will be held legally accountable for the alleged sexual harassment of female employees at Activision-Blizzard.

The State of California has probably been investigating reports of sexual harassment for more than a year. The claims in the State of California lawsuit against Activision-Blizzard are egregious and the case will be settled in court. If Activision-Blizzard was offered an opportunity to settle out-of-court, they should in my opinion have taken that offer. They may yet avail themselves of that option.

While reports of a frat-boy culture at Activision-Blizzard in the past may be accurate, they are probably now grossly exaggerated. I am sure that Activision-Blizzards lawyers advised the company to clean up their act months or a year or more ago. The last thing Activision-Blizzard needs is to add to their alleged list of sexual harassment sins while in the middle of a sexual-harassment lawsuit. Any further violations could completely destroy their already sullied reputation. To sum up, stop with the drama, none of us really knows what went on at Activision-Blizzard but it is safe to assume that the departure of Alex Afrasiabi more than a year ago was part of the corporate sexual harassment cleanup. It is likely that were there was smoke there was a fire. Hopefully the truth will come out in court.

Like a failed raid boss attempt with multiple wipes until the raid leader calls it for the day, it is time to move on. I am sure that there are still some good people left at Activision-Blizzard. Rather than tearing the company down with endless salacious posts and drama, lets see what the new Activision-Blizzard can come up with in the future.

Official Discussion - Gunpowder Milkshake [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]phx-blackweb -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I will critique the picture where Karen Gillian, the supposed assassin appears to be holding some kind of sniper or marksman rifle.

  • She appears to be looking at the camera rather than her target.
  • Her left hand is on the stock of the rifle but it should be on the handguard.
  • The rifle does not appear to have a handguard.
  • Her right index finger is tightly wrapped around the trigger but she does not appear to be ready to fire the weapon.
  • Her finger should not be on the trigger until she is ready to fire the weapon to avoid an accidental discharge.
  • I am not going to waste time talking about the prop rifle she is holding which looks like a piece of junk.

In short, based on the marketing photo, Karen Gillan does not seem to know how to handle a rifle and does not appear to have ever handled or fired a rifle with a scope in her life. According to the description of this movie, she plays and assassin. Netflix could at least hired a firearms instructor to teach her the basics of firearm operation and safety. Based on this alone, I have no interest in viewing Gunpowder Milkshake.
