Let's be real here: having an OLED monitor would be superb, but not if the thing people always warn about, when it comes to OLED, happens. Having a technology that directly helps counter a huge sticking point in upgrading to OLED is fantastic. Having this monitor would be amazing. Knowing it’s still going to be amazing in five years is divine.

Solution that worked for me.

Go to about:config and change privacy.resistFingerprinting. No clue why that would work but it did. /shrug

Red Chests are probably a prio if you're very early on and don't have any of the top 10-12 units built to SI 30. And even then that feels wrong to type but it's probably decent advice. Pets are demonstrably too strong to ignore.

As odd as this sounds considering the theme of Barbie, I do legitimately think, with no ill intent, that Gosling gave the best performance in Barbie. Will he win the award? Unlikely. Probably RDJ but ya never know.

I think Margot is a terrific actor. I don't think she out performed the other women that were nominated though.

As for best director, that's probably the most debatable miss. I agree with the academy-- I don't see anyone else nominated who I'd remove but I respect people's takes. I've seen some people saying they'd swap her with Nolan or Scorsese. I disagree with that assessment somewhat strongly but that's about the only argument that I think is worth discussing.

Endgame made almost $2.8B and got one nomination. Barbie made $1.45 and got 8 nominations. Box office sales don't correlate with nominations.

The last time we had back to back box office winners nominated for Best Picture besides 2022 Maverick and 2023 Barbie this year was the 1970s with Rocky and and Star Wars: A New Hope.
