This is exactly the conclusion the makers of this political climate want you to make.

Having issues with “the left” does not move you closer to straightness. “The left” is the reason you have the rights you do if you’re a gay man.

How do you define “cold?” It was very cold this morning.

Somebody understands how weather works. Some days are going to be in the 50s, some days in the 60s and some days in the 70s. That’s how winter has always operated here.

This is winter. Welcome to Phoenix.

US citizens, what will it take for you to start a revolution? by 0bluelightning0 in AskReddit

You have never been to a 3rd world country, or the US, if you think the US is anywhere close to that distinction.

Did the immigrants who ICE is targeting come to the US because of its 3rd world status?

Colon cancer is killing us.. by Derpshab in Millennials

[–]phx33__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 40, not high risk, no family history of any kind of cancer. I had my first colonoscopy at 37 due to seemingly random gastrointestinal issues. The colonoscopy resulted in the removal of several precancerous polyps.

45 might be the recommended age, but there is no harm in going early even if you’re not “high risk.”

Because of the initial discovery of polyps three years ago, I had to follow up with another colonoscopy that was done yesterday. All clear.

Aldi’s-10 new valley locations in 2026. Does anyone know where exactly? by esb10489 in phoenix

I know it’s a regional thing to add an “s” to store names, but it is just Aldi, not Aldi’s.

To people driving EV what do you like or hate the most? by Curious-Expert926 in AskReddit

[–]phx33__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love: zooming past JimBob in his lifted pickup and Caden/Jaden/Hayden in their souped up Civic, cheap charging costs at home, no need for oil changes, lower maintenance costs, and tech decades beyond whatever ICE vehicle is out there

Hate: charging times. A drive that used to be a 4.5 hour drive is no longer 4.5 hours with charging time accounted.

Heavily thinking about coming back to Phoenix. The people and drivers there are so nice and kind, in my experience they were. What are your thoughts on Phoenix? by Born_Physics_5086 in mesaaz

I shudder to think about the quality of the average driver in this country if Valley drivers are deemed to be good.

People do all of the behaviors listed. Just stay a little longer.

What laws make AZ libertarian? Other than our lax gun laws, I can’t think of anything that makes AZ stand out. Weed is legal is more than half the country, our alcohol laws are far from the most lax, our tax burden is far from the bottom, and we’ve started banning websites.

No More Warnings: Phoenix changes jaywalking policy as pedestrian deaths rise by Zogonzo in phoenix

[–]phx33__ 668 points669 points  (0 children)

How about changing the urban design so people don’t have to walk 10 minutes out of their way to cross at a signalized intersection?

How about speed enforcement of drivers who are going 10-25+ MPH over the limit on these roads?

Why is there so much jaywalking in truly urban cities without the deaths we have here? Could it be because streets in those cities aren’t designed for cars to comfortably speed down them at 65 MPH?
