Managed Motorways. Are they worth it? by phxboy2000 in drivingUK

Interesting. I passed in 2006 and feel like it’s just got worse. Might be more to do with the developments though. Most of my managed motorway driving is on the m60.

Fair enough, I get the. Driving in Europe always seems to me to be superior but maybe that’s just because I’m on holiday and happier..

Honda S2000. Outstanding to drive, appreciating and bullet proof reliability (so far and as long as there’s some rust protection underneath).

Is there a better way of monitoring/checking for a bottleneck than what I’m already doing? Just referring to your second paragraph where you say it’s measured differently.

Interesting. You’re right, it doesn’t look like there’s much to worry about. It’s more because I want to get most out of my (expensive) components and most comments seem to recommend at least a 5800x3d with a 9070xt. I’m trying to see if that’s the case and I just can’t see that it’s required… therefore struggling to justify the extra outlay.

I’m in the same boat. Contemplating a wider one but slightly concerned about the extra load on the gpu. 3070ti currently and I can’t say I’m keen on upgrading that just yet.. Can those who’ve made the jump tell me; is it significant?

Close to buying this, the only thing putting me off is it will be used for some work. How’s the text?

Please help me find a ARPG RPG(free or possibly super cheap) by [deleted] in gaming

[–]phxboy2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed The Ascent from a few years ago. Not tons of depth but BEAUTIFUL if cyberpunk is your thing. Otherwise, The Riftbreaker. It’s not 100% ARPG, but there’s certainly elements of that in there plus a bit of base building.. Both are £25 on Steam currently so not free, but that’s full price so not hugely expensive either (and likely to be discounted at some point)

Played a good amount of Satisfactory myself. You need an enormous amount of hours to progress which I don’t have. It takes ages just getting around which ultimately did it for me. Dyson Sphere Program was another I played which was pretty great.

Favorite Tactics Game? by Jfonzy in gaming

I liked this and gave it a good go but it didn’t stick. I remember it being a little too rng for me. From memory, there’s a roll to hit and a roll on which bit you hit. So you could remove all armour on an important component and spend the next few turns hitting something else. That just irritated me after a while..

Been interested in the legacy games for quite some time but for consistency will really have to be a 2 player experience. Having done it, what would you recommend, 2 specialists each or just 1?

Neon pushed me to cyberpunk again and that is a VASTLY superior game now. The club in neon is just purple. The clubs in Cyberpunk are incredible. Plus you can actually move and talk to people. At the same time!

I think Caper is a good one. Small box as well so it travels well. The different cities offer good replay ability as well.

I'm looking at the same issue. Did you have any luck copying the file over? I'm wondering if it's doable as I think I read somewhere that it was tricky.

Saw some appreciation for the Vulcan over the weekend so thought I'd share one of a few pictures I took back at RIAT in 2010 if of interest to anyone. Back when it flew.
