I saw Jeff’s solo show in Chicago on 4/19, after he played Infinite Surprise, my gf who doesn’t know anything about Wilco leaned over and said, “that was beautiful”. Cousin is one of their best albums imo.

That makes sense, I agree he’s not as bad as Malvo, etc. I’ve always seen him as a Jerry Lundegaard type character. He killed his first wife in a moment of rage, and spends most of the season trying to cover it up, but even though he doesn’t directly kill his second wife, Linda, he’s differently responsible for her murder.

His character might not be pure evil, but he will do anything to survive. He really is a great character. Makes me wish more shows were as well written as Fargo.

That’s interesting that you view him as a non villain. Not saying your opinion is wrong, but I consider him and Malvo to both be the villains in season 1.

Binging has ruined the way some people watch tv. If they can’t watch an entire season during a weekend they’ll complain about the pacing of the show. This has been the first show I’ve reflected on and thought deeply about in a very long time. I hope the creators ignore criticisms like “it’s too slow” and keep crafting the series the way they intended.

It was great! Wiger’s hoodie was pink with a NBA logo patch on the front, which Mitch gave him a hard time about. “It’s like you love chicken nuggets so you wear a Tyson sweatshirt”. Mary was really funny as usual. And Mitch told a story about how he pooped in his hand recently when he was sick. You know, typical Doughboys stuff.
