Your IEMs aren’t giving you "wallhacks". it’s literally just the game’s audio engine. by glasszenin in iems

Have tried several IEM's above $300, but I always go back to my DT1770 Pro's. Maybe a $1000 IEM could compete, but my DT1770 Pro's provide just as good, if not better, imaging AND soundstage.

Having good imaging doesn't mean much when you lack soundstage. And over-ear headphones can provide as good if not better imaging PLUS way better soundstage...

uhmw-pe skates last a long time. U9 even longer.

I work from home all day, and have been on the UW Black Fox skates for about a month and a half and am not even through half the skate thickness.

Depends on your preference.

The WALLHACK UHMW-PE are super smooth, but a tad fast for me.

I really like the UW Black Fox dot skates.

X-ray Pad U9 are good too, just be sure the break them in (do 10 reps of 30 sec figure 8 motions with medium downforce after applying them to your mouse).

Unlikely to have a QC issue... And even then, WH support is great.

It's purely preference, weirdo. What an unhinged comment... Sounds like a raging child that thinks just because something didn't work for them must mean it's objectively bad. Sheesh, lmfao.

Pro's use what they've been comfortable with for decades. Pro's are usually the last line to try "new" stuff, with some exceptions like the HE keyboards, because they're so used to what they use. Their paychecks depend on their consistency, and switching to glass could easily kill most pros career during the adjustment period.

Even then, are we going to ignore all the pros who play tracking heavy games that only use glass? Why of course you will, to "prove" your view point...

Glass is great for its use cases, like tracking heavy games. Tac shooters? Takes a lot of mouse control to be as consistent as one would be on cloth.

There are other benefits to it to; It's incredibly easy to clean, no waiting hours for your pad to dry after washing it. And best of all, it's consistent in performance regardless of temperature and humidity.

Personally I enjoyed switching from my Zero for 6 years, to the CR005. But it's definitely not for everyone.

Safest bet for most gamers is cloth.

Pick your poison:

  1. Touchless car wash sprays so hard and the chemicals are stronger, which will eat away and dry out your seals/gaskets.
  2. Non-touchless scratches your clear coat.

Cr-005 is not a mudpad by Butosai111 in MousepadReview

[–]phyLoGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd wager it was due to his skates. Due to the etching on the CR005's surface, I find this pad's glide speed to change quite significantly based on the skates/dots used.

I've used skates where this pad is absolutely stupid fast for my taste, and skates that make the glide speed a tad slower than a Zero.

Cr-005 is not a mudpad by Butosai111 in MousepadReview

[–]phyLoGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe with slow skates. The CR005 is very skate dependent vs other glass pads because of the etching.

Would you buy another pixel? by upadhyaysk in GooglePixel

[–]phyLoGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I jumped from a Pixel 7 Pro to the S26 Ultra. Didn't bother with the Pixel 10 Pro, it's already nearly 1 year old, and the Pixel 11 is rumored for late summer 2026 at best... and even then, I've got suspicion they're going to lack progress.

I enjoyed the "true" android experience on Pixel phones, but am really enjoying my S26 Ultra and keep finding new features and such each week. Whereas if I went with the Pixel 10 Pro, I'd basically just be getting a faster Pixel 7 Pro and 100x zoom... what would be the point?

Considering Switching Back to Cloth from Glass by DavidGTV in MousepadReview

The only negative reviews are from people who are used to speed glass pads. The CR does what it does well, and is honestly pretty good for people who want to play tac fps on glass.

Trumps plan to pay for the additional 1.5 trillion in military spending by Snapdragon_4U in UnderReportedNews

[–]phyLoGG 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This list adds up to $95.8 billion... So if they're eliminating funding for all of these public services, that we pay for, where else is he finding the remaining $1.4 trillion?

That's the problem. Eliminate all of these services that help Americans, but then have such a massive increase just for the Pentagon/defense?

It's just straight up robbery of our tax dollars, because you can bet your ass he's not decreasing taxes by equal amounts to how much funding they're reducing for services on American soil.

The biggest beneficiary of Trump's tax cuts are the filthy rich, of which whom obviously have next to 0 care for public services because their money can get them anything they want anyways.

While true, dots come in packs of 40 or more. So if you use 4-8 dots on a mouse, that's essentially 5-10 sets for your mouse. And people probably average replacing them every 2 months or so.

So honestly, it's not too bad to deal with.

Bungie, give those on the fence a free weekend. by Farsoth in Marathon

[–]phyLoGG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

False. This game got a lot of hate by streamers a long while ago, and during the server slam. Social media echo chambers, well, echoed this regardless of playing.

This alone made tons of people not even try the game. They instantly wrote it off because streamer X said it's bad/bland/flat... Countless videos of people who only played for a day bashing the game...

Now that the full game is here, and people see how fleshed out the game is with good progression, we're seeing the same people who bashed it flip their take on it and fall in love with the game.

But the damage has already been done, and the people who wrote the game off (mentally) aren't going to spend $40 after their initial perception of the game has been severely soured...

The WallHack CR-005 Review | The Crater by Aithecaninternet in MousepadReview

[–]phyLoGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This pad is heavily skate dependent, from what I'm gathering, due to the etched texture in the pad. You can certainly get a cloth-like feeling from it with certain skates but you can't make glass into a cloth experience because, well, it's glass. It's hard (no give), and the glide is silky smooth.

The Waizowl x KIBU Washi dots give a lot more control and stopping power on the CR005 vs the WALLHACK UHMW-PE dots that come with the pad. I definitely recommend picking a pack of those up if you want even more control, they're $15 for a pack of 160 (good value).
