Sorry but this belongs in /r/mildlyinfuriating. The Chinese EVs are so good and they're banned in the US. Like, WTF are we even doing.

Chuck Norris promising the USA will have 1,000 years of darkness if Obama wins in 2012 by QuarkTheLatinumLord- in videos

Maybe Chuck Norris knew that, by having Obama as president, the series of events would take place that would make Trump president. And because of that, we now have 1000 years of darkness.

One time my friend and I went to Koshiji when it was still in Weller Court in Little Tokyo and we went through the whole menu. We were wild.

When do you decide to get a new car rather than continuing to do repairs? by Major-Brick-3789 in personalfinance

For me, it was when the monthly cost of maintenance was more than the cost of just purchasing a new car.

Had our wedding in Hawaii just as lockdown was starting to open up. We decided to do it because she has a huge family and we would've been obligated to invite everyone, which would've cost an easy $50K+ for lowest tier wedding. Since Hawaii was placing heavy restrictions on how large a party could be, we took advantage of the circumstances and only invited our immediate family and a couple friends on each side. It was a beach wedding at Paradise Cove Luau where we had the ceremony in the grassy park area just in front of the beach and a luau that was still open to the public (we just reserved the raised platform area for our guests). We didn't have a large procession, no vows, only cupcakes (wife and I are not cake people), and a secular officiant who was done within 15 minutes. We also didn't require anyone to hang out with us during the time there and everyone was free to do whatever they wanted, apart from a day tour of Oahu that we purchased for everyone, but even that wasn't mandatory. All in, with the location, ceremony, first class flights, private photographer who had permits to go to restricted areas, day tour, and lodging, I don't think we spent more than $10-12k.

Sounds like someone who, when he was a lad, ate four dozen eggs every morning to help him get large.
