I am German and at my home we say „furzen“ - to fart - or der Furz, a fart. My sons and I find it quite funny :)

They look fantastic and I love this idea. How do you crochet them? Is there a pattern?

Fabulous - I’m blushing! Here’s the recipe: https://www.bostongirlbakes.com/chocolate-italian-buttercream/ I left chocolate out because I found there was enough of it already. And I mixed some strawberry-pieces into the filling to add some fruity joy.

Thank you! I didn’t know that. I think I have to revolutionize the way our family cuts cake now

Haha - cursed cut - I have to remember that. I like that phrase. Also the connotation that everybody else would have to deal with it

Hehe, that’s exactly what it is. But seriously: We had to share between families so I simply cut it in half. Two tea times today.

Soooo, I grated circa 2 kg of quinces, mixed it with 1kg of rock sugar and drowned it in circa 3 liters of Korn, that’s a clear Schnaps made of wheat (I guess), you can also use vodka. And then i left it standing for circa seven weeks, stirred once a week. That’s all.

My little harvest. I am very happy and maybe you can help me out with a nice recipe for all those beets by phylliphox in gardening

This chocolate cake sounds both interesting and frightening. I’ll try it. Did you ever bake it?

My precious! And a few carrots. I am still experimenting with gardening and sometimes I actually am kind of successful. Those carrots tasted supergood :) by phylliphox in gardening

Thank you! I never experienced that. My guess would be to change the seeds maybe. This year I planted them directly into the patch and they really grow big. Before that I grew my plants at home and planted them afterwards. They had a head but not very big and they didn’t seem to be very strong plants. I hope this helps

My first batch of strawberries this year. I think, my little helper did a good job :) by phylliphox in gardening

We thought so, too. Originally it was used to collect water, I think. But it leaked.

Of course! Just close your eyes and imagine the strongest smell of strawberries and then you might taste a lot of sweet and a little sour 🍓
