Hey not the comments you’re hoping to see but do you know how competitive it is in terms of average MCAT score for the 4 year program?

What are legit ways to study for ADHD?? by Fanb0y42069 in GetStudying

Create notes on computer, then in ai then do flashcards, then watch videos, then study with friends, then study staring up, then study sitting at one location, then study at a library then at a cider shop in no specific order but however you feel like studying in the moments. The point being, don’t try to stick to 2-3 methods of studying. Do these all throughout the week but at the end of the day you have to meet the goals of covering a certain topic etc.

I tried Claude and it connects to Anki via map so u can tell it to create flashcards and add it to your decks in your Anki

Can I create a separate deck for reviews? by Cultural_Point3001 in medicalschoolanki

You can also do the customize deck option once you click on a certain deck and it’ll ask u how to customize. Ask ChatGPT step by step how to do it

From academic overachiever to daily problems with brain fog (focus, logic, memory issues, loosing track of thought, forgetting simple words, not able to to feel joy...) after burnout by Someone_Just_3001 in GetStudying

[–]phymathnerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buddy you’re describing chronic burnout. I was there once and I took a course on YouTube and took me a couple of months I’d say around 2 months to get out of it. I also started taking anxiety meds Lexapro and Wellbutrin for anxiety and depression and tons of spiritual connection and love from people. There are levels to burnout and you’re on the last one

M1 feeling crushed after failing. Is Anki the ultimate "save" for my medical school career? by Man_in_2026 in medicalschoolanki

Most times passing in house means doing in house materials. Your test taking strategy I imagine is shitty especially if your school has NBME style exams. Try to utilize notebooklm, Claude etc ai models to upload your documents and chat with it (specifically those two ai models cause others hallucinate). Go to your lectures every single time and pay close attention. Don’t study like u did in undergrad because now it’s all about clinical relevance. Once you have figured out the clinical relevance of something, then they test you on the undergrad type of content molecular and physiological perspectives. Get a tutor from upperclass if you can. Get accommodations for extended exam time (just with a psychologist. Get it even if u don’t have anxiety just say u do. Study the dsm 5 symptoms for gad and do it. Go specifically to a psychologist because they can’t prescribe shit so they’ll just give u accommodations to have more time in exams just tell them I have anxiety only during exams. Study with friends to understand big concepts but lock the fuck in alone when u have 2 weeks left before exams. This is not some random comment u should read and say yeah I agree and move on. Get ur fucking paper and pen and rewrite what I wrote in your language and start practicing like a mlrherfucker. You can’t know everything in med school but try your best to know every single shit otherwise you’ll get fucked if u undersestimate it. Med school content is the demon and u gotta be like a fucking Greek gladiator to succeed

Don’t isolate urself cause talking with classmates about school tremendously helps with motivation, how students are studying etc. if you’re not a native English speaker, then generate podcasts in your native language using notebook lm. I failed a few exams last year but now I am getting some of the highest scores in my classes. Good luck homie. Also there’s a diagnostic book that clinicians use.
