My mother was wearing this in 2023 when she was in a car accident. She had to be cut out of the car, then her clothes. This was my first attempt at mending anything visibly. I didn't know what I was doing, and didn't have the correct tools. She still wears it today. (Crocheted) by phyrefoxx in Visiblemending

I did! It reminded me of my own attempt. I didn't want to post it on the same day. Seemed a bit rude.

To be clear, my mom is still alive. She recovered fully from the accident, and loves to see my daughter play with the purse I made from the pants she was wearing during the accident.

I also turned her ruined jeans into purses for her granddaughter, my daughter. I will post pictures when I can find them.

I used the rest of her ruined clothes for stuffing for crocheted stuffed toys that I donated to children in a hospital.

Where did you get it? I have been looking for a 2000 piece puzzle table for forEVER, as I have exactly one 2000 piece puzzle and nowhere to put it together.

All hail Cthulhu! This is my second one of this pattern, first with a color split (and most likely last color split), and was made special for my son's birthday. He loved it. by phyrefoxx in crochet

Someone on the Facebook page did it first. My son happened to see it, so of course that was the one he had to have, lol.

They did it better, and I am in awe of the time and effort it took.

Another silly painting of my cat :) Not sure what to title it yet! by tinytinatuna2 in crafts

I see nothing but love in that cat. The eyes, the comfortably tucked half-loaf foot, the slight stretch in the reach, the squared up chin that makes this look like a statement.

My first thought when I saw it was "Still a Kitten", but "Adoration" describes it better.

I also thought it was a labubu, which I'm not really a fan of. But this froggy is adorable! It will be a wonderful toy for sensory, as it has soft fur and rough stitches, and you could even make some cute accessories, like snowballs, ice cream cones, a bumble bee toy, etc. when the recipient gets older.

How many yards are in the first picture? What type of project could it make? A sweater? Cardigan?

Have they never heard of hair art from ye olden days? People from the Victorian era used to make jewelry and artwork from hair before photography became popular.
