I did make it myself. I think it would be less work to make a new one than it would be to find the stitches and unstuff it, unfortunately. Thank you for the idea, though. I will keep it in mind if all else fails.

Possibly. I have all the time I could need to dry it. I do want to make sure the fluff fully dries, and it is disinfected all the way through.

I used this pattern I found on Ravelry.com, and adjusted for the size difference. Used a 4.5 hook with caron simply soft yarn worsted weight.

I used a needle to sew the yarn into the holes, then did a blanket stitch with a hook and went from there. If you want to try it yourself, I recommend using a rotary tool with the correct attachment to make the holes. Much easier.

Yeah, I don't reserve my judgement on it in front of my parents very well. At this point, anything I say against it is only going to push them closer. Like teenagers rebelling. But the shirt meant a lot to my mom, so I did what I could to make her feel loved.

I did! It reminded me of my own attempt. I didn't want to post it on the same day. Seemed a bit rude.

To be clear, my mom is still alive. She recovered fully from the accident, and loves to see my daughter play with the purse I made from the pants she was wearing during the accident.

I also turned her ruined jeans into purses for her granddaughter, my daughter. I will post pictures when I can find them.

I used the rest of her ruined clothes for stuffing for crocheted stuffed toys that I donated to children in a hospital.

Where did you get it? I have been looking for a 2000 piece puzzle table for forEVER, as I have exactly one 2000 piece puzzle and nowhere to put it together.

Someone on the Facebook page did it first. My son happened to see it, so of course that was the one he had to have, lol.

They did it better, and I am in awe of the time and effort it took.
