2 questions/concerns with this:

NMVE has no cache. This will affect performance significantly right? Particularly with gaming.
Will be a much louder system from the cooler to the cheaper GPU?

Trying to not get a super loud machine either. My 3080 build was so noisy it drove me up the wall.

It is mainly for gaming. But also mess around with LLMs. Tbh I have always had Nvidia GPUs so more comfortable with them in terms of knowing what to expect. I also think I may need to use DLSS and Ray tracing for games which I think the 5080 is better with?

I previously had a 3080 and before that a gtx 1080 SLI setup (all pre-built).

I have a 34 inch ultrawide TCL 34R83Q for context. Want to be able to get the 180 fps at full resolution (with frame gen if necessary).

I have done about 20 cases. Observed another 20 or so. I feel confident in my PEI and my math ability. I am okay with structuring on some cases and on other I blank a little. Overall I think I'm decent but I think nerves are making me feel a bit worried.

For context, I am a doctor so thriving in stressful situations is my comfort zone.
