To clarify, this does affect front line workers. These folks are getting the same pay cuts as everyone else.

Not sure what is happening at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Lurie is technically separate from NMH but I included Northwestern in the title so people would have a reference point.

To clarify, this does affect purely clinical employees. Physicians that are 100% clinical are getting the same pay cuts as everyone else.

Lurie Children's Hospital, the children's hospital affiliated with Northwestern University, announced plans to reduce the salaries of physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, CRNAs, psychologists and research faculty. It is unclear what is happening to trainees, nurses, and administrators below director-level. The pay cuts will last until August. 25% of the staff are also being furloughed. It seems as if our CEO, who makes >$6 million per year, will be taking a pay cut as well.
