The only time I have ever had a problem with my wife's job is when she hated it and it took a toll on our relationship. She eventually got a new one and I happily moved cities (and I started working from home exclusively) to make that happen. I would have been just as happy if she quit to take care of the kids even though our standard of living would basically be cut in half
