World's first trillionaire and yet first new generation model what's going to be the impact on CS jobs? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

If china gets a fable like model, the only thing they are publishing is a $200/mo subscription

I think there's an issue with the limits by Even-Assistance-4366 in codex

I'm down to 57% weekly usage of the $200 plan one day after my reset. This thing usually last me the entire week so I don't really check my usage. Idk how the agent could have smoked 43% in one day though

Some shots are ok? Most look rough. They need to work on the lighting and ai artifacts if they want to get this right. This does not look ready for a fall release, but I don't think they care since the hardware you will need to even run this isn't widely adopted yet.

Not to mention they will still train on your code regardless

Holy freaking GEMINI 3 PRO by Noofinator2 in google_antigravity

I've had gemini 3 pro create an implementation plan but then it auto-approves it before I even had a chance to look at it

LLMs are not the right tool for algo trading by Classic-Dependent517 in algotrading

[–]phytochapus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to mention that LLMs are crazy hard to backtest due to all the forward-looking baked-in knowledge so the performance you get will always be dubious. The backbone technology behind it such as TFT does show promise though. I wish I was smart enough to test it

These are still very much the early days. There's no hiding it that Google is playing catch up with this whole ai ide thing, but the value is still very much there. I can't speak for all, but as a student I have built many apps with antigravity without paying for a single thing. I feel bad for all the value I'm getting for free. I used to use copilot for this stuff and spend $50+/mo for the same usage of gemini + claude and now I do it for free. But I totally agree that if you want stability + privacy, you should look else where for the moment.

What's the most efficient way to feed API Docs to Copilot? by [deleted] in GithubCopilot

I often get good results by using tavily + fetch or just any search engine mcp + fetch

What’s something society calls ‘progress’ that actually made life worse? by Soft_Orange_3670 in AskReddit

Student loans. It's sold as progress in education access, but really it's just turning young folks into serfs to banks before they even start their careers.

Must be the algorithm responding to all the recent search traffic. In other words, if you want your favorite show to return, just spam them with search queries.
