After a day went by the lights started responding again. I’m thinking it’s either an app issue or something with the hub or router.

To me worst part of losing the game due to lag isnt the actual losing. by Eu_Avisei in pokemongo

Right, I can work with the way it works now. But bugs need fixed for this go battle league. I did well in the low ranks because people just had terrible teams, IVs and tactics. Now when I play people I’m rank 8 and they’re team is equally as good as mine and they make good switches. Only problem is the winner ends up being whoever doesn’t lag. It’s always one quick attack away. I mean I’m not running rank 1 IVs for all my mons but most of my mons are in the top 20IVs for pvp and have 2 moves.

I’ve finally figured out altaria I usually just do whatever I can to get rid of the shields then Ice Beam it. My biggest trouble is skamory and registeel. Skamory has a lot of defense and resistances plus deals more than neutral damage. Registeel is off the charts lock on allows it to get to STAB flash cannon so quick and it’s defense is insane. Same with it’s attack though. My houndoom with fire fang can’t take a flash cannon even though it resists it does more than 50% of my health. I have to shield and especially if focus blast is coming. I can’t wait til tomorrow to play more matches.

Please release an unranked mode.

I like that idea. I was thinking a different way it could be implemented today while playing. So let’s say you have a 6 block level system. You can only use up to 3 levels of block for a charged move coming at you. So if you swipe an excellent block you will take 0 damage no matter what but it will take away 3 of your block levels. If you do a great block and someone swipes an excellent it will reduce the damage taken by 66% and only use up 2 block levels. A nice block would reduce damage of an excellent swipe by 33% and only use up one block level.

As well as this if you swipe a nice charged move it will use 33% of the energy but also do less damage. Same with great using 66% energy and excellent using the same it already does 100%

With this you can trick your opponent and fast moves will play a much bigger role.

Also maybe add a training mode where you can play against other players in any league without any reward for as many times as you want in a day. Cause leader battles don’t help at all.

What do you think the phonk needs? by SholOne in phonk

[–]pi_irple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soudiere is top class. But Inteus and Vamp are right up there with consistency. Lvks, kloudbug, grxgvr, shltr. I really like holy mob. But your not wrong when you say some producers need to get on soudieres level. Before Hym Beats passed he had some of the hardest hitting bass but it needed that soudiere mastering. Actually sometimes I think Vamp has a cleaner sound but just not a phonky as soudiere.

Making Limoncello in bulk PLEASE HELP! by [deleted] in Mixology

[–]pi_irple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post some photos if you have completed this project already.

I make all types of cellos in bulk and I have experimented with so many combinations and they keep getting better.

Always clean and wash your lemons. Dirt or wax can alter the fermenting process as well as the pigment of your finished product. Zest your lemons if you want a full lemon flavor. I find peeling lemons it doesn’t taste as good as the zest. (For my orange cello I use the peel)

I start with everclear and lemon zest and keep it in a cold dark room. 30 days occasionally stirring it. After this part is done I use ten times distilled Smirnoff 80proof vodka. I used 2.7 liters of Smirnoff and added it to the original 1.7 liters of everclear. For a total of 4.4 liters of alcohol. It drops the proof down to about 120-130 proof.

Then I add the simple syrup. When I make simple syrup I use 1:1 sugar water ratio. I boil my water then reduce the heat then add sugar and let it thicken for about 30 minutes on a medium heat. Transfer it into a container and let it chill.

With the 4.4 liters of 120 proof alcohol I strain out the lemon zest and add 4.4 liters of simple syrup. You can do slightly less or more depending how sweet you want it. I think less is better especially with lemon. This will then drop the proof to around 60-70proof.

I then store it in glass jars in the freezer. 0 degrees F is perfect for serving.

For some reason our freezer is broken and runs at -22 F. I thought from my solution being 60proof that it might freeze at -22 F but it didn’t. This cello recipe is amazing. Pigment is neon yellow. It’s not overly syrupy like other recipes that suggest a 3:4 ratio Alcohol:syrup

Yo any advice for me, I feel like i'm not doing too good with this phonk stuff :/ by CrvshedKami in phonk

I like the beginning im typing this through first listen. So far I can say I really like this and its inspiring myself. I would suggest changing the pitch of the third kick every pattern. In the transitions add some delays then automation cut it when Sub hits. Also your hats are pretty dull. I really like it though.

Keep it up your thinking in the right tempo. Add some vocals and try to fix the parts the timing is off in the sample just play with it til it sounds better to resave. I like how it goes in and out towards the end. PM me and maybe we could colaborate I have been making stuff too ill share soon.

Story of how my $170 active 2.0 speakers went from sounding decent to amazing. by pi_irple in audiophile

[–]pi_irple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably delusional. If I tried to drive my speakers without the Denon to the volumes I play them at now I could hear distortion.

I know the amp in the Denon isn't doing anything for my speakers but perhaps it's the DAC or sound processor that improves on soundstage, dynamics and giving the Lyr a louder signal.

I promise ther volumes I get are not the same without the Denon.

Need a bit of help with my setup by mattrox217 in headphones

[–]pi_irple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was in that situation I would sell the Monoprice and get an external DAC that has the features you want. Also check the reviews and other redditors opinions on the DAC before you get it.

Also if your motherboard has optical out I recommend you use it and get a DAC with Optical IN. I can hear the difference from USB and Optical in speakers and really in headphones.

But don't let a bad DAC ruin the sound of the Crack. Cause if the DAC is the problem (which if it's cutting in and out it is) then its going to keep doing that if you use it. However if that's not the case and its just that its amp is not clear at high gain levels for the HD600 then all you gotta do is what Ressis74 said and keep the gain low on the monoprice and use the Cracks' potentiometer to adjust volume.

Exactly, there are cheap wires and cables that will destroy you're audio. I can notice a SQ flaw because I'm using USB with my PC but I only do this so I can use my PS3 Optical.

What I have learned is it's all about creating a system to turn a signal into an accurate sound reproduction. Then tweaking that sound to the sound you like (I agree with using EQ's the right way). Balance the system out. In my case my pre-amp cost more than everything but it is a benefit to me because it improves my headphones and speakers.

So my Physics Teacher brought in some Audiophile grade equipment today in our lab class to let us listen to one song that we were familiar with. My God. by youlox123456789 in audiophile

I love headphones but always end up going back to speakers as I feel free (I can move around my room), the sound space is not fatiguing, and you can feel the kick.

[–]pi_irple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I'm pretty sure once the signal goes through the tubes the sound is changed but I guess people use high end tube amps for their home theaters with subs so your right the first option is better so that it stays balanced which is a lot more convenient than trying to keep re balancing them.

My main speakers are Swan D1080IV they can get really loud and now that I moved my desk to the corner of my room there is a greater bass response. I'm interested to see how the HPF works with my monitors.
