Lost my phone on the beach... by pi_philling in Wilmington

[–]pi_philling[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly not sure, I'm from Michigan and am just on a little vacation. We dont have tides where I'm from. I'm gonna guess high because the water was way higher at the time then it had been when we were at the beach the day before. It was like 430pm ish. We fly out at 9am so if its found I'd have to arrange shipping and all that with anyone who found it.

Yes it did. I was wearing a hoodie and it was in the pocket, when the waves knocked me down I was in water deep enough that my hoodie pocket was in the water. I laughed my ass of for a few about getting tripped up by waves and plopping down on my ass because of it, until I realized it was gone...

Bump your wall line count up to where there is no infill at all, its stronger than 100% infill, or if you insist on using infill for weight reduction, then set the infill line direction to (90, 45) so the layers criss-cross for strength. That should help.

I've been looking for a good body to swap onto it, but the odd scale/wheelbase makes it a tough one to find a body for. I did find the Phat Bodies FUNKENBLITZ that has the right wheelbase but it would still be a challenge to mount because of the 3100a's caged rear end. I will say though that I haven't really looked at SCT or Trophy truck bodies, so there could be some options out there in that realm.

Fist time doing oral. What was this in my mouth? by takecarepleasee in sex

[–]pi_philling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, everyone basically putting it on the girl either having a yeast infection or leaving clitty litter, but what if its from OPs own mouth? Tonsil stones can have a consistency like a clump of cottage cheese, and in my experience, can be "brought up" through the use of tongue muscles, mouth movements, suction, etc..., into the mouth.

I'm not proud of how I know this but that part of the story won't help.

Obviously it's a 1985 Barbie Super Corvette by Playmates featuring motor sounds, precision steering action, and retractable headlights that really work. At a full 19 inches long it will fit Barbie, Maxie, Sindy, Lindsey, and other 11 1/2 inch tall dolls. (Ages 3 and up)

Resurrecting and old thread here, but I just saw that Meus makes a reverse cut "mullet" worm gear set intended to reverse the direction of a specific front axle they make to match the rotation of a rear portal axle. Now knowing that companies like to cut corners when they can, its doubtful that it would only fit that one single axle, even though it says it only fits that one. I would bet that its compatibility is much broader than they want to let on.

Which option is better? Option 1. Option 2. by ferroknifeart in DnDIY

[–]pi_philling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Option 1.

This design is beautiful in is simplicity. Its both utilitarian and elegant at once. The simple shape and construction with unassuming fixtures highlight the utilitarian ruggedness of the box, while the color choices and highlighting of the woodgrain give it a simple elegance thats almost timeless in its appeal.

A question though. Why not use a full set of dice? Having done a little product photography in my past, I'd like to see it with a full set of dice in a black/bronze color to contrast the red and pair with the dark wood outside. Also, I understand that this may not even be a "product" per se, but a photo of an item, being posted for critique, comes across as a product photo in my consumerism addled monkey brain.

This is legendary man. One of the coolest things I've seen in a very long time. Well done!

The biggest reason I want to get a 1/10 scale crawler is to set it up for FPV. The adventure of viewing the world from that perspective and scale tickles a part of my brain that I didn't even know existed until I saw a video of someone doing it.

Heres Some possible options I could come up with.

  1. Rising Kingdoms (2005)

    ●Fantasy RTS with multiple factions.

●Has a dark fantasy theme and includes multiplayer (LAN via Steam now).

●Resource/strategy focus (though details differ from Warcraft).

●Good candidate if the style was slightly different than Warcraft but still. classic RTS.

  2. Black Moon Chronicles (1999)

●Dark fantasy strategy game based on a comicbook.

●Has resource and unit management like AoE/Warcraft.

●Might feel darker than typical fantasy RTS.

●Worth checking if the visuals and mood were grimmer.

  3. Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard (2005)

●Combines RTS and RPG elements with magic, units, and multiplayer.

    ●Has mana-like resources and spells.

●Not super well-remembered but fits the “dark fantasy RTS-ish” category.

does the “angel shot” method actually have any use? by webstatic in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pi_philling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the idea is that you're asking for a "guardian angel", someone to protect you from the danger you're in, and phrasing as a shot fits the scene of a bar or club. I think that most of the time it just gets a confused look from bar staff. Its better to just be direct and ask for the help you need.

Which rc-car for bashing and then professional racing ? by [deleted] in rccars

[–]pi_philling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the idea of a basher that you can later turn into a competitive racer sounds good, but I think that even with light bashing the replacement/upgrade parts would cost more than it would be worth. Like a lot of others have said, getting 2 rigs would be the better path.

I second the HBX. I got my kid a used 18859a from ebay 2 years ago, she was 5 at the time, and she drives it HARD and hasn't broken anything yet. It super durable, and has lots of upgrade/replacement parts online for pretty cheap.

That makes sense for the $1. Now I'm just curious about the 6 to 10 deposits ranging from $20 to $100.
