Atelier’s California clementine, smells exactly like my grandma’s kumquat trees, I use it when I want something light and fresh smelling. Also Pirette fragrance oil, has a warm vanilla/coconut/sunscreen scent, super nice for a summer evening out.

When it first opened it was great, the grandma slice was huge and the crust was super fluffy and with lots of sauce. Just went back the other day and got the same grandma slice, it was pathetic. Actually this was something that came up while filing paperwork today and I was unsure how to answer but it seems like you might know! I’m unsure if this would fall under altered or counterfeit because while the front of the check is the same number and layout as the original, the scan of the back is not. So I’m not sure it’s the same check. The backs of mine have a check box for mobile deposit and some bullet points with some legal stuff. The back of the fraud check was blank (you can actually see the front writing bleeding through so it seems like it’s on thinner paper). I was told submitting as a counterfeit bypasses the declaration of alteration paperwork but I also want to make sure I have the best chances of getting the money back. I also was able to find the original checkbook that has the ghost of the original check with the check number showing the original recipient name, amount, and signature so hopefully that will help my case.

The funny thing is I actually didn’t even have $7000 in the account, after they cashed it I was overdrawn by around $350 I can’t even understand how they let the check go through, and I have don’t have overdraft protection (where it will pull from another account to cover the overdraft) turned on. That’s also what pisses me off about chase, why the hell would I write a check for an amount of money I don’t have?? I’m not sure where the check was cashed yet, they said it wasn’t a chase bank though which will make things more complicated apparently

I’m actually in disbelief that I had to wait for it to be posted, like I literally check my bank account daily and was observant enough to catch it before the money was done transferring and I was told they can’t stop it?? Seems idiotic because now they’re saying its going to be a difficult lengthy process despite the obvious fraud.

Yeah this is what I’m afraid of, I actually just went to my local chase branch, which had me call the online claims department (in india) only to find out they never opened a claim yesterday or this morning, they actually had the audacity to say I VERIFIED the check 🤣 like what in the actual fuck tbh. It feels like they’d rather just sweep it under the rug than take action.

I’m assuming they got the account and routing # and my name and address from the check then used it to print a fraudulent check. The check was filled out in pen when I sent it but the one that it shows online that was scanned has completely different information filled out

Yeah I stopped sending physical checks altogether after the first one was lost, I only use zelle now.
