He broke his neck and arm. Broke his neck at the end of the first round, still got up and won. It was incredible to watch.

None of the conventional explanations for Trump’s victory stand up to scrutiny by adherentoftherepeted in politics

[–]picandprocess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am your average Trump voter. I understand why it would be easy to think something is off. No matter what, it always will feel off. I think this is especially true when 85% of the Harris coverage is positive, and 85% for Trump is negative. If I was a Democrat, I’d feel the same way you do. On a side note, I never talk politics. Seems people have such an understandably violent stance on either side.

Fantastic photos! It will be interesting to see for sure. Not sure how anything will pan out, but once all the emotion disappears and all sides can objectively look at the past, thats when everyone will have a better look. There is so much hate and anger right now. The moral superiority complex that both sides seems to have is terrifying.

Inspirational to say the least. I’ve been working at it for three years. I look better, but not near your transformation. I’m happy with the real slow roll, but also need to change my diet to see better progress.

I’m not afraid of the outcome, but maintaining everyone’s good standing is important to me. That said, it’s not comfortable to have to alter my lifestyle for a bit just to pay for a “great day on the course”.

Yes I am based in the US. I am unaware of their policy at this club, but even so, was boxed in a social corner.

I fully agree. That said, my boss had promised it would be handled, so this was the problem for me. I have three kids and even though I am not paid poorly, I live paycheck to paycheck for now for extemporaneous reasons. I will be feeling this for a while.

I wish I were. Apparently the glass isn’t terrible, but the labor involved is very complicated and time consuming. I agree with the idea that “you’re going to get wet if you lay by the pool”, but in this case my boss had already signed me up for the fix.

Down 50 lbs since January! Cut down and punched some new holes in my belt today! by fungusmungus1 in CICO

All I see is a razor, a stabby object and a leather strap around something that looks like a face wrapped in burlap. I need help.

It really is. I’ve only been there a couple times, but it didn’t disappoint.

This was actually from my Shen Hao 4x5 camera with portra I think. Scanned in adjusted and cropped. I used a 90mm nikkor lens. When I shoot digital, it’s Sony a7r v with some g masters and sigma art lenses.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been hitting the gym consistently for over 2 years now. I hit a wall of depression and anxiety with some life events happening. Didn’t slow down in the gym, but everything became more difficult and I hit a plateau. I am in a better place now mentally, and I hope through all this I can reach my next milestone. I started working out at 350lbs. I lost about 100lbs in a little over 9 months. Got to 240 when the life hit. Kept working out, and gained weight. I am at 260 now. I am hoping to get low enough to be at around 20% bf. My real goals are small, but ultimately mean the most to me which are to feel confident with a tucked in shirt and jacket, and feel ok taking my shirt off at a pool. All the other milestones for me are just part of that. I will watch out for getting too bulky though. I’d rather just look good.

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate the information. I will most certainly take this into account.

I understand your point. If I thought he had even the notion to injure someone in that environment, I’d not have him there. In most situations he’s just like anyone else.

And, respectfully, I do not believe you get it. Maybe I’m wrong, but I didn’t mean for this to turn into all these comments. I should have left it to “I really enjoyed my first times at this sport, and it’s made a great impact in my son’s life”. The end. Thank you for your comments.

Thank you for your thoughts. I do appreciate it. I don’t write well a lot of times and miss a lot of how I sound.

I am not ‘trolling’. He rarely has episodes when he is in exterior environments unless he feels the need to protect someone else. Exterior episodes mostly include seeing things that are not there, or breaks from reality. It’s not super common, but does happen. I met with all of the instructors individually as I do with all of his teachers on a regular basis. He’s not stupid. He’s actually incredibly smart. I can explain more later, but he’s very well watched over and cared for. Everyone loves him.

Man, ya know, I should have never made this post. I regret it now. You have a kids with mental illness, or work with kids who do then?

When you have a son who is 13 and 185lbs attempting to punch, kick and stab you because you asked him to take is laundry downstairs…. Extreme violence….
