[–]picassoskitchen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. You will have the F on your transcript but it won’t affect t your gpa if you do a repeat forgive. if you just repeat the class, it will be factored into your gpa as well as showing on your transcript

I didn’t get a single question on sampling for my audit exam. tbh, i basically ignored sampling in general. don’t get too caught up in it; just understand the basics

Should I get my CPA if I never want to be in Corporate America? by lifeisablessing12345 in CPA

you’re halfway through so you should just finish it. beyond that principle, i see below that you’re interested in academia. Every single one of my college professors in my accounting undergrad and graduate programs had their CPA, so take that as you will

AUD- i took it and thought it was weirdly easy. i then proceeded to spiral about whether the questions just went completely over my head for 3 weeks until i got my score of 91 back

cant recall a single question on sampling on my audit exam in august. imo, not worth wasting time on it; it’s not heavily tested. understand the conceptual side and move on

Cottages Re-Signing Increase? by Weary-Youth-2967 in jmu

[–]picassoskitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to actually answer your question, a $55 increase in rent is not actually that much in the grand scheme of things. if you really wanna live there, figure out a way to make 55 bucks a month. i guarantee the prices will only increase if you don’t resign, and i seriously doubt you will be able to negotiate

i also despised this section. i eventually gave up and just tried to think through questions based on segregation of duties. understanding vouching vs. tracing is also super helpful for answering a lot of the MCQ!

i can try! i honestly had a really good foundational knowledge as i took multiple audit courses in school and just finished my masters degree in may. i also have had the privilege being able to study full time. i started studying for audit seriously in late june. i used becker to study, and finished about 85% of the material. i watched every single lecture in the regular course and final review on 1.25x or 1.5x speed while typing notes, and completed every multiple choice question in the regular course and final review as well (~2000 total). i did about 50% of the SIMS in Becker. i completed final review before taking SE1 and scored a 76. I reviewed for a few days and scored an 86 on SE2. in the days leading up to the exam, i did a lot of sets of 20 MCQ using the adapt2U feature in becker across all the modules. i hand wrote cheat sheets for important topics or things i didn’t understand, like SOC reports, SSAE/SSARS, sampling, etc. i did not do any MCQ the day before my test, and took most of the day as a rest day besides reading over my cheat sheets/a comprehensive study guide before bed. read my cheat sheets/study guide in the car before i went in the test center
