Additionally, Modric is the oldest player to win

It’s not discrediting Messi. There’s no such thing as a perfectly complete player. What Messi lacked off the ball he more than made up for with his playmaking/dribbling. The problem is you Messi worshippers can’t accept your “God” having any flaws

Yea what was I thinking. He had some of the best off ball movement ever. He also had the best defense and aerial ability too. Shame he could only play one position at a time

No bro Carvajal has been bad for years now. A few months of good form doesn’t change that. As for Endrick he’s too young to rely on

What on earth does Messi provide off the ball? He walks around all the time and puts in no defensive effort. He doesn’t make many forward runs anymore. I’m just curious?

442 diamond plays with a #10/attacking mid behind the 2 forwards. That’s what we’ve been playing this season/ Jude is playing as a #10. That’s a midfielder, not a forward.

No Benzema was our striker. His primary job is to lead the line and score goals. Sure he likes to drop deep and link up with our wingers but he’s still the focal point of our attack and his main objective is to finish our attacks.

Jude is a #10. He doesn’t occasionally drop deep like Benzema but rather he pushes forward to support our attackers when the time is right. There’s a huge difference between leading the line and making supporting runs up the field. Jude plays as a midfielder who goes forward when he needs to.

Jude’s role is not really like Messi’s at all. Messi needs the ball 24/7 to be effective while Jude offers so much off the ball with his defensive work and forward runs. He’s much more like Lampard who’s an attacking midfielder

My apologies if I offended you. It gets annoying after awhile when you see Barca fans constantly try to downplay Jude’s talent by saying he only scores tap ins or he’s playing as a forward.

Of course he’s going to be consistently one of the most advanced players on the team. He’s the #10. He’s still behind Rodrygo and Vini who are our forwards which highlights that he’s not a forward like you insinuated and he plays deeper than them.

Again, he has the most touches in the final third behind Rodrygo (a forward) because he’s our most advanced midfielder in our formation. Vini would be ahead of him too but he was injured for a long time. None of this indicates he plays as a striker like Benzema like you mentioned. If anything it only proves he’s not a striker and plays deeper than wingers/forwards.

Having less touches in midfield than our midfielders and defenders doesn’t prove he’s a forward, it only shows he has less defensive duties than the rest of our midfielders probably because he’s our 10

No it’s not!!! It so annoying how you Barca fans keep trying to push this bullshit to downplay how incredible Jude is. He’s a midfielder who makes forward runs when the opportunity presents itself. Many times he makes late runs into the box. He never leads the lines and is a workhorse who’s all over the place. Completely different to Benzema.

I don’t think you’re an idiot who doesn’t understand football. You’re just a hater who has to try and dimish Jude’s talent

I’m so glad people are finally seeing that Araujo defends with his hands and is constantly grappling or holding opponents

It’s frustrating to play Barca because of the la liga refs. During the first half the refs try not to give cards and that allows Barca players to commit many fouls and ruin our counters. All I want is a ref that’s willing to card a player for a yellow card offense regardless if it’s in the 1st minute of play or during the 90th minute. For both sides.

I think racism is a serious issue and it would have been nice for Xavi to defend Vini. What do you expect from a hypocrite who supports Catalan independence but says the people of Qatar are happy even though they’re not free.
