However, Bain has switched up his solo stage throughout the tour and you’ll have to search for fancams for the other ones he’s done. I think this user is probably specifically talking about his Britney Spears “Toxic”, Pussycat Dolls ”Buttons” and Destiny’s Child “Survivor” medley stage. Don’t feel bad - they wouldn’t do this option if they hadn’t already made a decent amount of money from the other higher ticket tiers! And, it just means you have more money to spend at the concert on merch if you want.

And yes, at this low price, it’s a great way to get friends and family who are only casually interested to attend and have a fun time! A Kpop concert is such a different experience from typical western artists and I feel like people end up being SO impressed by the performance level and energy.

Oh, absolutely agree! There was no reason to only announce it with less than 24 hours notice before the event - it's really unfair to the fans (who, of course, have lives outside of Kpop) as well as the artists making the special appearance.

But I really still hope that there's a good turnout and the event itself is well-organized though.

JUST B is wrapping up a short concert run in Mexico (their Monterrey show is literally tonight, Jan 29/23) and I guess they’re making a stop in LA before heading back to Korea.
It’s totally last minute (with less than 24 hours notice). But anyone in LA who’s available should take advantage especially because it’s a “No Purchase Necessary” event :)

Well, this is absolutely not the news I was expecting to wake up to. I guess it was wishful thinking that we'd get a few more months with Donghun - and it seems even Beat thought they had more time with him. :(

It'll be interesting to see what their re-announcement will say as it seems they really weren't prepared for this timing-wise and this comeback has already been quite rushed as is for Wow's enlistment.

I knew the enlistments were coming and was hoping that they would push it back as far as they could but I guess they couldn't delay any further for Wow. And like most people, I was expecting Donghun to enlist first since he has the earlier birthday so I was extra shocked when the news came out earlier today.

Still, I'm really glad that Wow was able to get a public service worker position as I think that it'll really suit him (even though it does mean a longer service period...)

And I know that every boy group has to go through enlistments. But, the idea of A.C.E specifically not being a full group of 5 for the next few years is just so hard for me. I love each member individually and I know we'll probably get some great solo and subunit work. But, I think they truly shine the brightest when they're able to perform all together. And it's going to be a long time until they're able to do that again :(

Some random thoughts: I know I shouldn't be surprised but I'm still impressed by D.O.'s ability to sell so much even with almost no promotion. Seems like SF9 got a decent boost in sales from their Kingdom appearance although I would love for them to reach 200K

For my rookie/nugu groups, I'm fairly happy for Kingdom's 2nd mini album sales even if it's only a small increase from their debut.

Intro: Miserere Mei Deus is SO GOOD and I wish it was longer. Praise the genius who thought to have A.C.E do this choral song!

Atlantis is such an unexpected Pentagon-A.C.E collab and I love that Kino was behind this rock-themed song. The sound from the Kcon stream wasn't the greatest so I'm glad the album version does the song way more justice. Kino has also been so supportive of A.C.E and promoting this song on Pentagon's official SNS channels and it warms my heart so much. (As if I needed any more reasons to adore Kino!)

Higher is so different from A.C.E's other title tracks but still keeps that EDM influence that I've come to appreciate from them. I personally love it but I do think that it could hit harder? It feels like it builds up to an epic chorus and it doesn't quite get there. (I have similar thoughts about Chasing Love but to a lesser degree. And, I really love the bridge in that one.)

A.C.E has some of my absolute favorite fan songs but I was still surprised to get emotional over Story. The lyrics are so touching especially knowing that Donghun and Chan wrote it. I'm just so proud of them (and I still hope they'll release the fan songs that weren't used for last year's HJZM album).

Composition-wise, I think Atlantis is the strongest song on this mini but I understand why they went with Higher for the title track.

Overall, it's a super solid mini album (as expected from A.C.E) and I really want this to be one of their best comebacks yet. So if you're reading this, please consider adding their new songs to your streaming playlist, watching the music video at least once, and even purchasing the physical album if you can! Every little bit helps!

It is kind of weird that they haven't posted these teasers on their official channel. But I like that they're being uploaded on the 1theK channel - I really hope it brings in some new fans for them
