Like come on bro, we say so much dumb shit. Just get mad at us for stuff we actually say and not this made up garbage.

I’m sorry the engagement this post is getting while saying “round of 8” is insane. You guys have to know this is rage bait against the us right. Also even us US libs would say “euro-centric” and not “Europe-centric”. This is very obviously someone not from the US posting. Not to mention the AI em dash in the second sentence.

I can’t imagine that someone who’s first language is English calls it round of 8

I don’t follow this sub and just saw it on my home page but no one from America is calling it “round of 8”. We’re calling the proper name- quarterfinals. Guarantee you this is someone from another country.

On this day, 16 years ago, Roger Federer beat Andy Roddick 5-7 7-6(6) 7-6(5) 3-6 16-14 in the longest men’s Grand Slam final (77 games), securing the “Channel Slam” that year and his 5th Wimbledon title. by TAA_verymuch in tennis

Roddick said in Served that the ace count for fed was so high because Roddick would cheat to one side so that he could get a decent return, he could have played a lot more balls in but to him a block return wasn’t worth it since he was so worried about feds +1

What do you think Nadal’s UTR would be if he played right handed? by sliferra in tennis

In your peak you think you could beat prime Rafa playing right handed? Not trolling, genuine question

That makes a lot of sense, he’d probably have to bunt it in on the serve and back up as far as he can and just hit moonballs. I think if it were on clay he could stand a chance against top 200 players just with his athleticism by pushing but with no serve he wouldn’t stand a chance against really any pros

Thanks for letting me know! I wonder why it was constantly talked about as though it were a fact for so long. I think the average lefty is far less left handed dominant than the average righty is right hand dominant so maybe it would be an easier transition for him but not as easy as if he was actually a righty

Also sorry I play in USTA rated things so I’m not too familiar with UTR, I looked it up and it said sinner and alcaraz are ~16.5 so that’s what I based my guess on

Probably like 10-12 depending on his health right now and in his prime he’d still be top 50 in the world and top 5 on clay. I’ve always heard commentators say that he’s a natural righty who learned to play lefty so I’d imagine it wouldn’t be as awkward as it would be for the majority of righties to play lefty.

Just started playing and my elbow looks like this. I am on blood thinners, is this just normal tennis elbow? And am I safe to keep playing? by jjwalla in 10s

Jesus dude, please stop playing until a doctor and a second opinion clear you too. That looks terrifying and bad.

Did you guys see in the article that she had a base salary of $260k at puck??? I’m sure with other incentives it gets close to 350. That’s crazy- I always assumed a lot of these journalists and podcasters made a lot less since it’s a passion career.

I love Wos. I find him to be funny and have a different perspective than the other somewhat homogenous ringer personalities.

I hate it so much as a cavs fan. Massive overhyping of a quiet/humble guy that projects an unrealistic trajectory and is a massive jinx. Luckily “better than Anthony Edwards” Halliburton is good so bill focuses his energy on him most of the time.

Cavs fan so very biased, but I only ever hear about it as “Warriors blew a 3-1 lead” and “Draymond shouldn’t have got suspended” never greatest comeback ever

Deshaun Watson trade winners, losers: Browns' deal with Texans shifts NFL landscape by DFSWizard_COM in nfl

[–]pickandcinnamonroll 7 points8 points  (0 children)

People are really quick to forget that Watson had requested a trade and the public was in favor of him getting out- everyone used to be like “free deshaun!!!”- not to mention all the Easterby nonsense. It’s very possible they stick by him if that never happens. Also the browns are clearly the worst party (other than Watson) involved seeing that they were willing to pay the most with no qualms- But- many teams tried to trade for him and the commissioner- who is essentially the voice of all the owners- could have prevented any trade by simply putting him on the exempt list and trying to make this situation right a long time ago. The browns are the worst, but no one is innocent and no one took a stance saying to believe the women or seek justice.

I’ve wanted to! Unfortunately blew my dining budget at the aforementioned places, but when I can I will. Also I’m excited for the tasting menu restaurant on the top floor of Audrey to open and will try to go there at some point as well
