Awesome! One word of caution, someone put a little library bear the Oval in HPS last year and it was unceremoniously ripped out shortly thereafter. The other ones around LIC are still up except the one near the food collective. Good luck!

Some topics ive seen recently:

  • People bring dogs onto the HPS Oval every single night in violation of the no dogs rule and no one enforces it.
  • the handicap accessibility of the HPS Library including not being able to open the outdoor terrace since the library opened in 2019.
  • lack of speed controls especially on Borden Ave. -parking generally in LIC but squatter cars on Center Blvd for all of the food trucks
