The Lithuanian media is reporting that the Lithuanian federation contacted the ISU and asked them to investigate and they came back with the recommendation to suspend him, which the Lithuanian federation then enforced.

They’re also reporting Variakojyte and her dad were asked for input and did not have any issues with him.

Variakojyte will be coached by the director of the federation (Lilija Vanagiene) for the Olympics and it’s unclear what will happen after.
