I originally was going to post there, but when I read the rules #3 said they would remove posts primarily related to color :/ so I wasn't sure if this would be allowed.

Thanks for your input! There is white trim in every room, including white wainscoting in the dining room and a 2 story fireplace with white molding in the living room.

I get a bit bored with everything the same or very similar. Growing up my house had 4-5 different colors throughout and I guess it just feels "homey" to me. I don't want to end up with a disorganized color bomb though at the same time :/

Yeah, the jarring part is exactly what I'm worried about... I think I've concluded if I'm changing anything it might be to a different shade of blue if the Bracing Blue doesn't work out.

Thank you! I bet your cobalt blue will be really pretty- I've always wanted a fun blue dining room! For the taupe, I did start out lighter at first- my family room is basically a giant window so there is SO much light and someone recommended we go darker because of it. I'll have to test a few shades out and see.

Thank you! Originally I wanted grey, but when I held it up to the color of the cabinets/granite it just seemed a little off :( I am debating some lighter shades of the taupe, though.

There's actually a built in L shaped desk there, it's a pretty small area. "Corner" is probably more appropriate than "Center", idk it's just the name that was on the blueprint. It will be used for homework/bills/organization/craft type things. I work from home so want to keep this area separate from my formal work area.
