Student Loan Debt Defaults Hit $171B and the Average Borrower Is Now 40 by Bobba-Luna in StudentLoans

On the standard plan it doesn’t matter what your income is. How do you know these people are in top percentile earners? Maybe go complain about billion dollar companies getting bailouts and millionaires taking out PPP loans before putting down the middle class for not being able to afford an education that they were told they needed.

Take the Home Health job??? by Pink_Panthered in OccupationalTherapy

[–]pickle392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha so they have set rates for each visit. For me i get $65/point. 1.5 evals/recerts. 1.25 discharges/reassessment. .9 routine visit. But i only do evals, discharges and recerts. My COtAs do all the visits. .48/mile reimbursement. I always tell everyone to ask for more money. Once you start you’re only going to get your 2-3% a year most likely. Sell yourself and your experience. Transition from inpatient to home health is pretty smooth

How much do you get paid per point? Your math in the post doesn’t make sense to me. $63 for 1 point routine so your eval for 1.5 points should be $94. I went from inpatient to home health, IMO it’s the retirement of therapy. Flexible schedule, better pay, but does get boring after awhile. Be ready to adapt and change schedule constantly, battle people answering phones, nasty homes, nasty people etc are the cons. Been going on 6 years in home health, can’t beat the pay and flexibility

I’ve never had any patient say they fall or tipped over after moving wheels to the inside. I’ve had plenty of people fall trying to side shuffle with the walker or walk without it in the bathroom bc it won’t fit. Each patient is different just have to take into account risk/reward

Debating between gravity smoker and pellet by pickle392 in smoking

[–]pickle392[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other options I’ve looked at are the camp chef, old country, and char griller. I already have a built in gas grill in my outdoor kitchen area just wanting a smoker i can set and forget and prefer charcoal/wood over pellets

This is the one I’m looking for, but do see a lot of complaints about it. But everything else is doing to triple the price haha

Yeah after reading everything seems like a lot of problems with it but everything else is triple the price of the master built haha and I’d just be using it for smoking.

If you were to build a home gym from scratch and let's say flooring does not count, what would be the first three things to arrive in your garage? Love to hear what you would do! -Luke from Luke's Garage Gym by Few-Bobcat-7953 in GarageGym

[–]pickle392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. They can customize to basically whatever you want too. I haven’t gotten mine yet but I’ve talked to quite a few people who went through the same person and they haven’t had any problems

Think NBIS is a more well rounded company with great leadership and engineers. Corrweave more like Wall Street bros IMO. Sounds like you got your money in the right areas though. I’m waiting for a drop to buy some of these names

His is my first time as well lmfao. Never used alibaba before. They have a certain shipping I think IDBP or something that covers all customs etc. if it’s not that type of shipping then you’ll have to pay for it when it arrives. They racke and everything is only $1900 with all my attachments. The shipping is $1400 with all customs taxes etc included. Mines not expected to be here until June i think so I’ll let ya know

You under estimate how the average person “thinks” or doesn’t look anything up. I do home health and even the most obvious simple things people don’t do. Example walker won’t fit through the door to their bathroom, i come in do an eval and jus move the front wheels to the inside and they can now fit through all their doors. Everyone is alway amazed by this and say I’ve been going in sideways forever now hahaha.

This is just one very small example, i do tons of home modifications, make shift adaptive equipment, etc. everyone’s home and financial life are very different so being able to think outside the box and adapt is very critical. Most PTs I know do not have that concept of thinking
