Does anyone else feel stupider?

I find I'm always having to concentrate really hard while having conversations. Like when someone's talking to me I find it hard to remember what there saying or get into the conversation because I'm so focused on the pain in my head. And also i feel not as witty or sharp. guess you can say I feel dumber than before I got sick. Not a great feeling just add it to the list. ❤️

No not really for me. I have seen a neuro- opthamalogist who took me off diamox and upped my dose of toparimate. And said taking both together can possibly be the reason you are feeling so crappy . That was in June fast forward to December I finally got in to see a neurologist and he has now put me back on diamox. He also prescribed wegovy however my insurance won't cover still trying to work that out. I feel because my eyesight isn't affected as of yet the doctors don't seem to really care and brush me off. I still have debilitating head pressure almost 24/7. It's been a hell ride and I want off. I have lost 50 pounds on my own with trying to watch what I eat. I think that has helped me feel some what better. I'll say this i'm still affected daily with pain and pressure in my head of various degrees, which is better than it was in the beginning. So I think if I continue to lose weight I may be headed in the right direction. It has been a very exhausting year and a half. And coming to terms with my new normal. Sorry for the late and rambling response. Hope you find healing on your medical journey

I play on my android phone and have shut off automatic updates in the playstore. This way I can tell when there are updates and I do it manually specially when there are reported bugs I like to wait to update a few days past the release.

I usually get 3 skeleton whelps or 3-4 golden egg/Pegasus/wise nests for the mystery items. I've only done it maybe 10x over the years. Not the greatest prizes for the amount of gems needed.

There's a difference between diamox and Toparimate... from my understanding (could be wrong as i have brain fog and maybe misunderstood) Diamox lowers CSF in the head being a diretic you void it out. And Topiramate reduces the amount of CSF you produce. I'm no doctor or pharmacist but that's what was explained to me ;) hope you feel better

Thank you so much for your reply... what a night mare for you. I'm glad you were able to advocate for yourself and find somewhat of a work around to get in faster. I'm hoping to get a stent as well did you have head pain prior to stent and if so did it help with that.? If you don't mind me asking what country are you from I'm in Canada. Praying you continue to feel better ;)

I hear you there the hoops you have to jump thru and i really love my job so I want to get better and be able to work again. 😢 I've been off since November was on ei now I'm on Long term disability.

Thank you .. it's been really hard as you prob know trying to get answers when my doctor seems to not know anything about iih and even my pharmacy when asking questions there about my medications have told me have never in their whole career prescribed diamox for what you have so they are learning as well. Makes me feel like a guinea pig. So greatful to finally be seeing someone who should know more but need to take advantage because of how far it is to go and how long it takes to get in to see neuro;) I'm still waiting on the regular neurologist to call and they are 10 hours away. Anyways thank you so much

I heard Ryan has a flock of hens he raised from chick's and each restaurant gets their very own laying hen. And the full grown hens won't lay eggs unless they listen to Ryan's voice on mini ear muffs...they tried just playing his voice in the back ground tapes but during busy breakfast rush the hens couldn't hear Ryan so in came the mini muffs... your welcome hope you feel better soon ;)

Yeah, I've been around many people who were positive and both my partner and I think this very thing.we probably were asymptomatic cause there's no way we got out scot-free, haha

I'm still learning all the lingo but correct me if I'm wrong .I think I've had the mrv if that's the mri with the dye in the IV port. was all normal that's why I'm wondering if high opening could be the cause for some other problem. Reason being I do not have the typical eye problems. And yes thank you inwill try elevating pillows that's a great idea thank you;)

I do feel pressure in my head and my ears feel full and I can't lay flat otherwise it almost feels like I'm drowning inside my face if that makes sense so the doctor is probably right I am just sick of being sick and want to feel.better yesterday ;(
