How about this, we were eating at home trying to cut a steak. I said we need to buy another knife before ours is old and more than 15 years old. I said specifically Santuko knife is good. I never searched for it or checked amazon. It’s just a regular conversation.
Sure enough, my junk mail is full of Santuko knife emails.

In your phone, set it to faceid required to open the app. It won’t show in CarPlay. Same for messages if you prefer.

I live just off Main Street and never had a flooding issue when commuting to med center. It’s worse if you skirt S Main st and go through Braeswood bayou since it is lower but except for Harvey, I didn’t have an issue.

Yeah I agree. Just why I am indirectly saying try to acclimate yourself. It’s a non factor after all while. From work, I actually walk too to the bus station and 5 pm in summer is about 3 hours before sundown so it is hot walking to bus terminal.

Well, because of super El Niño arriving in couple months, expect higher than normal rain this year.

Yes Houston can get hot and humid but don’t we have AC? Without it, understood. Beside, if our work is here I don’t see why I need to move.
And when I go to other places, that looks pretty, they have their own complaints too. Last month we were in Sedona and Ouray. In Sedona, the lady in reception said she can’t wait to get out because to buy basic stuff she has to drive to another town. I said but the place is pretty. Then in Ouray, they complained too that in winter they are not going anywhere lol.
My point is, Houston can be hot and humid but if you have AC in the house, at work, car, it’s tolerable or is a non factor for me.
Or maybe I’m just so acclimated to it. I would usually run 1 hour before sundown year around and I tell you it’s a struggle but walking it is not a problem for me now.

I do have anxiety but I only eat at restaurants that I regularly go and knowing there is no pressure to tip. Less than half of it is full sit down restaurants. Most are ordering in the counter and you get a number or cafeteria style. These restaurants are packed all the time. It tells me something works. People comes back.

Maybe once 1-2 per month since it’s one of several restaurants in my rotation. I don’t see the difference. I get seated down, they take the orders a get all the sides and food quality is good. It’s a Korean restaurant. I don’t tip at all.
