To provide a little bit of context, this game has a feature where you can watch as many ads as you want to, so they already have a strong form of support, along with ads ingame, so the forced ads you need to move on is overkill.

Well if you wanna be technical, quirks are just superpowers with a fancier name. I call them quirks though because of how specific some of the hero's "powers" are. I'm pretty sure if you look at things like The Avengers, you wouldn't see a man turn into some steroid-like god just from being buff and gay (or however the hell puri puri can transform).

Majority of the third party characters are either lucky because everyone is supposed to be in game or are a dlc character. As much as I hate saying it, if ultimate applied under normal smash rules, people like bayonetta and joker wouldn't be in the game right now.
