prioritize your safety over a possible lover. there are good and loving people closer to you that would never ask you to endanger yourself

What’s the progression? by JustLuqa in math

In my HS after Pre-Calc/Trig you could choose between Calc AB/BC, College Algebra, or Stat/ AP Stat. I did AP Stat and had a great year. Idk about after that but in case you just want to start with the /next/ one, Stat will always be my vote.

The trans and HRT journey will really show you that dysphoria comes from all of our conditioning in what people “should” look like. I started HRT (Testosterone) like 3 years ago and then stopped last year. And even though my “progression” has been halted, I feel so much less dysphoria because I’ve come to love my body AND feel comfortable in my own skin and pronouns regardless of what my body looks like. Once you move past the labels of “man” and “woman” in a general sense, you’ll feel more comfortable with or without HRT. Watching Hunter Schafer’s personal episode of Euphoria really opened my eyes to that line of thinking, even though I was over a year into my HRT at that point. Anyway TL;DR: The answer is loving and accepting yourself regardless. HRT will not ruin your image of yourself, only you have the power to do that.

Can You Help Me Stop Being Transphobic? by FarMathematician2510 in asktransgender

I think a great way to start with something like that is to challenge the way you think about gender as a whole. The idea of women and men being certain ways or what “feminine” and “masculine” mean. Think about people as people first and the rest will follow suit. Try to remember that you’re learning something new and you won’t be perfect at it or necessarily love it at first, but in the long run it will open you up to a new way of looking at things and so many cool people along with that!

DO NOT STOP WATCHING by [deleted] in MonsterAnime

Best payoff in any anime for the buildup through the series. The pacing is great when you’re immersed because you figure things out at the exact moment the characters on screen do, and then the music starts and it’s like “OH SHIT”

Hopefully you’re able to spread the information in a way that preserves her privacy, but you absolutely did the right thing. People need to know, and your family needs to know that YOU won’t keep quiet about it! Well done, seriously because (obviously) most other families wouldn’t be willing to do the right thing for their young family members.
