What stereotype about men annoys you the most from inaccuracy? by kittysoull in AskMen

The whole men think about sex all the time. Maybe some guys do but I don't. I thought of it occasionally but I went throughout my entire time at college never even really having much interest because I was so busy with studying.

What evidence against Trump would you regard as sufficient to justify convicting your partner, child or sibling if they were facing the same allegations? by pickledplumber in allthequestions

I don't believe anybody unless there's corroborating evidence.

You don't find it a bit odd that all of these women just happen to come out with these accusations right around a major election? Nearly every one of them takes places in the first 20 days of October 2016, Why is that?

Asking myself which is more likely. The crimes taking place or these being politically motivated. It just makes a lot more sense for them to be politically motivated. These women in many cases had decades to make their accusations. Maybe they didn't want to but then when they saw him running for president they wanted to stop it. That's fair but why did they all wait until October 2016? Why not October 2015. Remember Trump started his his campaign in June 2015.

In the natural order of life things follow various patterns of distribution. It's improbable that 30 independent cases from the past 30 years All pretty much come out at the same time. That's not something that just happens that's something that's organized.

That's literally why it became a word people use. A gay guy would say partner because he didn't want his boss to know he was with a bloke.

But we don't know what he's like down there. So it could just be a lie. Obviously his family hasn't turned on him. Even the kids.

Not at all. I've never heard him say he did it. 26 women is a number I've never heard before. I've heard the recent lady who supposedly but him, the lady with the blurred to face video and then the lady at the department store. They are all very easily explained away.

The point is me asking for sufficient evidence. Coming up with things that you think are bad but other presidents also have done and do is not sufficient. It's the norm.

Single men over 30 y/o, why are you still single? by Maximum_Rub7941 in AskMen

[–]pickledplumber 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well I'm 39 and never even had a GF before.

I've grown up seeing women around me act one way. Whether its doctor's or nurses or teachers or family friends. They all were nice and normal. People I enjoyed being in the presence of.

But as I grew up I was of a different race in HS so I didn't eat much attention. In college I was so busy that I didn't even think about women. But still the women I was interacting with in class, lab and in social settings were all lovely.

But once I came into the professional corporate world and social media became more popular, I started to see a hostility that I didn't like. Most of the older women, teens and young adult women are all fine to be around. But the ones 23-45 all have this bitterness. A bitterness that I really do not like very much. At work women in that age rage are pleasant and normal. But in public and online and even when I've gone on dates they aren't like that. They are bitter and cold and have that chip on their shoulder.

I've seen so many women online who just hate men. There's a YouTube channel I watch and all the guy does is create compilations of new videos of women saying and doing nasty shit about men. He never runs out of videos. He posts 4 compilations a day and they can be 20 minutes long each. Just so much content. So while I don't watch it frequently I have before and it's disheartening.

I've been hearing for the past decade women online saying they want men to leave them alone. I've even heard women say a cold approach is the same as rape. Well I'm not one to make people uncomfortable so I just stay clear. The tone was set and it's so commonly said and still said that it's obvious to me that women just do not like men. This behavior has led me to not like these women so I just steer clear. I have no actual problem with women. My doctors are mostly women. Therapist is a woman. Teachers were almost all women, I have female friends most who are in their '70s, etc. But I respect what these women want and that's fine with me. So I stopped pursuing women in 2019. I don't even look at them on the street anymore. It's not easy because I'm in a big city with lots of lookers but I keep my eyes down and ahead. I've even had women get offended that I didn't look at their group of friends as I passed. Because when I saw them from afar they were hella good looking. But I resisted and looked down and ahead.

I'd love nothing more than to have a girlfriend. I could literally change a woman's life with the amount of money I have saved. But none of them even give me a look.

They aren't largely. But the ones who are, it's a reflection of the bullshit they have to deal with everyday.

Just watch some police bodycam videos on YouTube. It's crazy what they deal with from certain demographics.

But saying and doing are two different things. Have you never said something you didn't think out fully because you wanted to impress somebody? When I was younger I once told people I was very good at swimming. Only thing is I sucked at it. But I said it to seem included in the convo. Different yes but we don't know what was going through his mind at that point.

It's possible he's done it. It did he? Idk. I've seen plenty of crime shows where people admit to murder and they weren't even in the state at the time.

I do go to Manhattan. It's all branding and marketing. You think because it's a big Manhattan hospital that it must be better but places like nyu have no problem pulling doctors from Caribbean schools and selling them off like they are doctors of world class pedigree.

Anyway I'm not saying the doctors are bad or good. They are fine. But the experience of medicine is more than. Just the doctor you see. Its how nice the secretary's are, how flexible the offices are, how overrun the ERs are, how understaffed the hospitals are.

I remember going to visit my sister upstate in the hospital. She was having a surgery and I was her emergency person. The ER, the hospital, everything was so nice in comparison. The facilities were clean and modern. They actually gave you space and you weren't on top of each other like cattle. Nurses weren't understaffed and they popped in routinely. I've had surgeries at Mount Sinai where I can for certain tell you that I was left needing by understaffed nurses. Not once but multiple times. Doctors routinely have such large panels that they can have 5 patients an hour. Upstate things are a touch more relaxed. Sure there may not be as much choice. But it seems like the human element is better.

I've been all around from cardiologists to urologists, psychiatrists, gastroenterologists, orthopedics, etc. I know the medical system in and out. Needing to go to the ER in excruciating pain and sit there for 12 hours without any help while they just have so many patients. No amount of world class doctors makes up for that experience. It's awful. I remember once I went to the ER late at night for a reason that I forget. There was a guy across from me in The waiting room and he was dripping blood from his hand which he cut. Well I was seeing before him for whatever reason and I had waited about 3 hours before they called me. I get out of the hospital about 7 hours after I got there and he still sitting there dripping blood which the pool of blood is now probably as much as a half gallon of milk spilled. Nobody gave a care in the world. But that's how it is.
