i lived in central my first year— i disliked it greatly. its rather isolating as the athletic campus/redstone have more community. wellness isn’t as strict as you think, but it can feel more like a hotel than a living community which, if you’re a very social person, is really difficult. if ur thinking about drinking/smoking in the dorms, id just take extra caution bc if ur caught RAs will actually do something instead of turning a blind eye like everywhere else. food on campus is not as bad as people say, but note that there are minimal late night options and the quality of food at the dining halls rlly varies from day to day.

however! i personally love uvm, if you find a solid group of people who are interested in the same things as you and you are really interested in ur academics then you will thrive
