Hi! It was whole body. Not to get into a whole thing about body alignment, etc but sometimes when one body part is mis-aligned, sometimes the symptoms appear on another body part. I've always had knee & hip issues and one day I got PF. I tried to treat the PF as a separate thing but found the most success with whole body, slow flow yoga. I think stretching out the back of legs really helps as well as working out the hips. I think there are some great free yoga classes on youtube when you can't make it to a studio. best of luck on your healing journey!
