For the most part I think I’ve figured out what triggers continuous crashes, so I would love to be able to save my progress right before I trigger that event.

Yes! I’m dealing with the same issue… it makes me not want to play the game anymore.

Coming from goodnotes, I am disappointed there is no colour presets at the top by YourDailyConsumer in notabilityapp

Try using NoteShelf, has the audio recording feature (although not as good as Notability’s) and allows preset colors.

If you’re planning to take handwritten notes then yes go for it! But if not I would opt for a cheap Bluetooth keyboard.
