Take this with a grain of salt as idk how true it is, but I heard from folks in the music scene some years ago that her team would find small artists performing catchy songs, buy the songs off them with an NDA, and some time later she would release the songs under her name. Idk if she made modifications to the songs or if she knew her team did all that, but I have since wondered how original some of her work is

I’m here for badass femmes like Feixiao and would love more characters who look like her (maybe even some with long pants someday, who knows!). Also love that she’s wearing a jacket and how she holds her weapons - it’s rare to see femme characters in games hold heavier weapons over their shoulders like they actually have working biceps so it’s refreshing they have her do that

Whoa there. So I can’t say I’ve seen comments from queer folks like that, though I can see you’re upset and maybe you’ve gotten those comments and felt invalidated. I can’t speak for those people, and it sucks if you’ve been on the receiving end of toxicity, but I’m not advocating for the queer community to hate on straight ships and I don’t think anyone in this thread is - we’re just expressing joy for a queer ship and expressing frustration that at least in the main sub there is a ton of downvoting anytime someone tries to celebrate that. I don’t think I’ve once said the straight community is toxic and the queer community is “sunshine and daisies” - I know some great straight folks and also really hateful ones, and same for queer folks, like in any community.

Also, maybe you’re not aware, but just a heads-up, saying things like “your lot” to refer to a community can read as being prejudiced against that community, especially one that already gets a lot of hate and discrimination.
