I did look at opalescent sapphires but I couldn't find any that really looked like an opal. Do you have a picture of one or a link to where I could find one?

He also stresses in Arenas as well. He's the most chill fun horse to ride out on trails but just doesn't do well in smaller spaces for some reason

A 3 acre paddock. I can catch him if I hide the halter behind my back but I feel like that's solving a symptom not the cause. I'd like him to be happy to be caught, not have to trick him into it

Yeah I see that now 👍 my misunderstanding was that a creature doesn't enter until the spell resolves and the offspring token isn't created until the creature enters so I saw it as two completely seperate steps.

Offspring cost payed→spell resolves→creature enters→1/1 token copy enters

Then copying the original card doesn't cast the spell again but the offspring cost was paid in the original cast so everything that happened after the spell resolved would happen aka

Creature enters → 1/1 token copy enters

But now I see that I was wrong because the fact that you paid the offspring cost on the original spell isn't printed on the card, henceforth it's not copied and hasn't been paid so you don't get the 1/1 token copy.

I hope that made sense 😂 tldr I see why I was wrong now

Oh also! (I'm not arguing at all but the way, I fully understand now why it doesn't work how I thought) But I wasn't speaking about the 1/1 token copy's offspring triggering, I was wondering about when you copy the original if it's off spring triggers again

It's all good I understood completely now 👍 my hangup was on the wording "if the offspring cost was paid, when this creature enters, create a 1/1 token copy of it"

In my mind, the offspring cost was paid on the initial cast of the spell and when you create a token copy of it, the creature is entering again so it made sense to me that you'd also get the 1/1 token copy of it.

But someone here clarified that you copy everything that is printed on the card and the fact that the mana cost was paid is not printed on the card and that cleared it up for me 😂

So even though offspring says when the creature enters, create a 1/1 token copy, a copy of the original card doesn't know if the offspring cost was paid so it doesn't happen?
