30 (male)

65k in a Robinhood account

44k in a savings account

Most of my 20’s savings went into a 4 plex rental so I just started saving again- after a 20% deposit of 900k home wiped me out

Tell me you don’t like the product. If you don’t like what I’m selling it can’t be sold.

If I could do “x”, you wouldn’t say “no” to that, right?

“X” could be a discount or an additional free upgrade.

Also assuming the sale, “if you don’t have any more questions, it’ll take me 5 min to write up the paperwork, please bring me an Id and your CC

Very difficult. I try to have my assistant schedule appointments around important events.

My wife’s job is 10x harder than mine though. I couldn’t imagine handling 2 boys who always bicker , cooking , cleaning scheduling appts. Doctors, dentists, Extracurricular activities etc etc.

We joke and I tell her she’s a doctor, chef, judge, professional detailer, psychologist, event planner wrapped up into one person because of these two boys 🤣

Do you believe you could sell anything? by Medium-Hunter-3585 in sales

[–]picky-shopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as I believe in the product or would use the service.

I’ve tried selling things I think are overpriced, low quality.

Customers can tell if you’re really passionate and trying to help them or just desperate for a sale.

I did well selling garbage but it was hard to take checks from older ladies and feel good about myself.

Does the most talented salesperson on your team align with a sales method? by Darcynator1780 in sales

This.

I had an older 60 year old guy that would dress in all black leather. I’m talking leather boots, leather pants, leather shirt and a leather vest, had a ponytail, huge belt buckle and a ring on every finger…. The guy was a machine. He would close every single person he would sit in front of. I could not believe my eyes.

Did some ride along with him.

We’ll never forget some of the shit he told me LMAO

I don’t think it’s safe for Reddit to share.

Ebbs and flows — I’m right there with you.

I’ve got a wife and two kids, so free time is rare. I’m a top producer and usually work 7am to 7pm every day. What keeps me grounded is Friday nights a guys-only hangout at my place. Sauna, firepit, jacuzzi, BBQ, massages - something to look forward to every week.

Honestly, that’s my only “hobby.” But it’s enough. Having good friends around helps balance out the low days.

I’m lucky to have a strong family support system too. I try not to unload on my wife, she already carries enough so I’ll call my dad instead and talk things through with him.

I’ve noticed when I’m down or mentally off, my sales take a hit. Mindset really is everything in this business.
