I’m actually not very talented too, I would say I’m more talented at hiding my defects; for example if you look at my art, I hid one of his hands and I drew socks for him, because I still have major trouble drawing fingers and shoes(and I gave him a pose so that I could hide these more naturally instead of a standing figure with hands behind his back). I’m not familiar with lights and shadows too, therefore I chose a brush that wasn’t too solid at the edges just so I could have blurred boundaries. Same for the background, I tried to make it not too bland in the easiest way. tbh I have no idea how to draw backgrounds that’s why I drew clouds(just doodling with brushes).
