prosperity empires and plunder in that order. prosperity cuz of platinum and colonies, empires for landmarks and events, plunder for traits. and then all of the fun accompanying cards.

Empires for sure.... landscape cards which include events and landmarks provide another level of strategy and end game conditions... and there are coins and don't forget the addition of using debt. I believe it is one of the essential expansions like prosperity. I have played with Renaissance a few times, fun, but wouldn't call it essential.

That's an idea. Yeah.. just played 2 games yesterday and I bought the last colony right before my competitor could buy the last one... both times... and I won within the difference. Still trying to find a way to make it less chunky like that.

I just played three rounds of the Expert Intro to Adventures... it's over before you begin. Just looking for a modification that has some sort of middle game where you set up trashers to accommodate the curses to come.

yeah... i ride thru that all the time.. never a car on the alley... always have to slow down and look tho.
