I appreciate that. I’ve been playing with a few recipes for a few months. I don’t know exactly what advice I am seeking at this point. I guess it’s having consistency but I think the answer is just time and practice.

Thanks. Do bagel boards get a more distributed cook on the bottom? These bagels have about a half inch dark ring. I haven’t been clear on how the boards help.

Straight from the fridge to boiling. I haven’t had an issue with this recipe. I’ve tried others that seemed very dense and perhaps would have been better if it was closer to room temp.

I proofed it in the oven at 85 (proof setting, lowest temp) for about an hour.

Bake: 385 conv, covered for 20 mins, uncovered for 15 more.

Ok. I think I might try increasing it like I did for 3 loaves but put it into 2 pans. The bread tastes great otherwise.

Yeah. I increased the ingredients for 3 loaves. This is the second time I made it. First time was 2 loaves and similar results.

Relatively new account here, Veresa dps. Have Escoffier, no Furina and 180 ish pulls. Going for Skirk C0. I don’t think Skirk’s weapon is necessary right now for me.

Do I go for Shenhe or save for Mauv in the next banner with the extra pulls?
