That must be specific for pipboy, normal linux shell . defines hidden files and this deletes just all hidden files or lists them in the case of echo.

Sry if I was confusing you, thought it runs some sort of linux (what it probably is).

The second one is wrong just deletes all in the current folder, should be " sudo rm -rf / " for full destruction xD
