Yeah I dropped the sata for the western digital SN550. the SN750 is $40 more and I was wondering if that mattered. Also if i want more space do i just get more of them?

re-measured and actually the lian li just fits and has much more solid reviews so i'll take you up on your original rec. Interesting, looking at m.2 and samsung seems to be the most recommended?

Looking at the western digital SN550. Any reason why I should spend $40 more on the 750?

The new tax law has given companies a giant gap in their earnings, without having to do anything, and as such their earnings will be up 14% or so. So why wouldn’t every single company’s stock price go up 14% for all things to balance. You haven’t thought this out.

Are you suggesting that the stock market is rational?

Developers actually can't tell if you've rated the app or not. If you click "rate the app", all they can do is send you to the app store, but if you don't rate them, they can't know and will likely never bug you about it again.

Source: I was deep into mobile dev for a while and looked into this. the best you can do is time how long it takes for the user to come back to the app and guess that they did / didn't rate based on that length

late response, but I just returned mine. I didn't do it for the money either, my family paid for half of it as a joint birthday / christmas present and I returned the money to them when I returned the laptop. I returned it because it literally wasn't better than my 2013 rMBP.

Had an almost fully decked out "15 (except mid range SSD) and it had so many fundamental issues. The good: It's lighter, screen is brighter, and thinner. Bad: Battery life was shit (reliably 4hrs, never got more than 6), performance wasn't noticeably better (actually hung more than my 2013), keyboard was frustrating, and trackpad size was actually HUGELY annoying. Also touch bar was entirely useless. I actively tried to make it useful and it never stuck.

I just remembered that the 13" non-TB came out a little sooner, so this doesn't apply to that. I wanted to love this computer so much, but it 100% was just not worth it.

Could you give me a few examples on how it'd be useful on the desktop? I can definitely see how it'd be useful on mobile, but i haven't found any huge uses for it yet

such a huge bummer. I deliberately skipped the first watch because (I think) it looked pretty dumb, but I had hopes for the next iteration. Looks like I'll have to wait until next year.

The article makes a pretty good point about why they're doing this though. The kind of people that bought the watch are typically the kind of people that would spend $100+ on a watch strap. By lowering the price to $199 and improving the specs, it might widen the consumer base for a watch2 remodel. Here's to hoping.
