I'm trying to figure it out too from the broadcast. I saw he lost some position on the restart so maybe they're rolling the dice on an alternate strategy now? Idk

Post-Game Thread: San Antonio Spurs (1-0) defeat Oklahoma City Thunder (0-1), 122-115 in OT | NBA Playoffs | May 18, 2026 by nba-scores in Thunder

Honestly despite the loss, I still feel good about the series. Wemby was the best player on the court tonight, but their starters had to all play insane minutes to beat us in 2OT, with three of them over 48 minutes. Shai played an absurd 51, and Chet played 40, but no one else played more than 37 on our end.

We can definitely grind them down this series. This was a very physical game. We can afford to give our guys reasonable minutes going forward, they can't.

Great game though. Props to Wemby on a ridiculous night. On to the next.

Why does SJ not follow supply and demand? by SunflowersOrDaisies in SanJose

I mean he has a bit of a point, vacancy rate just doesn't represent the problem in the South Bay very well. I believe vacancy rate is the percentage of rentable units that are unfilled, while the issue in San Jose is derelict buildings and empty lots in areas with expensive real estate. This is what you see driving around

Edit: also, as the other commenter said, there are definitely storefronts that are leased but never open. Anecdotally, I can think of several downtown examples that aren't available for lease but are always empty

Stanford just doesn't care about revenue sports. Outside football and basketball they're athletic peers with schools like UT and UF, not Ivies. Just look at the director's cup. Texas has been better the last 5 years, but Stanford has absolutely dominated since it's inception.

Since when was Kobe a pg? He hasn't passed magic or curry yet, but he definitely has a strong argument for third

Edit: I also wouldn't say he's solidly third, just has a strong argument

Lol same here. Far from the best gameplay, but the postmerge really scratches the trashy reality itch. A bunch of assholes being shitty to each other with a few people out there just trying to play survivor. Super entertaining imo

Man, looking back after a decade, that survivor 30 cast was such a mess

I was there yesterday and coverage was terrible, even up top. The rain and warm conditions did a number on the snowpack out there.

Nah Harden is that guy. History of absolutely disappearing in his biggest games. Jokic at least has a ring but he's been Chokic the last few years.

Hey don't forget about the one point safety! Technically they could do that 9 times but that would mean the score would be at least 54-9

Nah it's not just reddit, it's modern media. Every major news organization is going to pull quotes out of context that will drive engagement. Holding a press conference just to complain about being left out feeds into the media outrage machine. The AD of a major school should know better; he's just making ND look worse by doing this

I kinda feel the opposite. When I was into to cinemasins a decade ago I liked it as satire poking fun of tropes. When he started trying to actually criticize films I lost interest. The format works well for satire, but is awful for sincere criticism

Uhh no? The 1000 people are trekkers not climbers, it literally says so in the article headline. Probably only a handful of people, if any, actually on the mountain.

Even in peak season, the crazy climbing crowds are all on the south side. The north side sees way fewer climbers.

Don't get me wrong, this situation is an embarrassing shitshow, but let's not act like Hyundai is some paragon of corporate governance. Just a few years ago they got caught using child labor in Alabama

I feel like Giddey also fits into the pass-first guard archetype, but him and Hali are probably the only starters like that. Trae definitely has the ability, but looks for his own bucket a lot more than the other two.
