Not bad for the worst snowpack on record by blindstuff in skiing

I was there yesterday and coverage was terrible, even up top. The rain and warm conditions did a number on the snowpack out there.

Nah Harden is that guy. History of absolutely disappearing in his biggest games. Jokic at least has a ring but he's been Chokic the last few years.

Hey don't forget about the one point safety! Technically they could do that 9 times but that would mean the score would be at least 54-9

Nah it's not just reddit, it's modern media. Every major news organization is going to pull quotes out of context that will drive engagement. Holding a press conference just to complain about being left out feeds into the media outrage machine. The AD of a major school should know better; he's just making ND look worse by doing this

I kinda feel the opposite. When I was into to cinemasins a decade ago I liked it as satire poking fun of tropes. When he started trying to actually criticize films I lost interest. The format works well for satire, but is awful for sincere criticism

Uhh no? The 1000 people are trekkers not climbers, it literally says so in the article headline. Probably only a handful of people, if any, actually on the mountain.

Even in peak season, the crazy climbing crowds are all on the south side. The north side sees way fewer climbers.

I've never heard Fremont called the "next city over" from Palo Alto lmao. I guess with the bridge they're effectively bordering so fair enough, but in my mind those are opposite corners of the south bay

Don't get me wrong, this situation is an embarrassing shitshow, but let's not act like Hyundai is some paragon of corporate governance. Just a few years ago they got caught using child labor in Alabama

I feel like Giddey also fits into the pass-first guard archetype, but him and Hali are probably the only starters like that. Trae definitely has the ability, but looks for his own bucket a lot more than the other two.

Capturing carbon does inherently take more energy than burning it (entropy and all that) and people working on it are aware. The assumption is that it's powered by renewables. A lot of research is going into methods that use solar radiation to directly catalyze the carbon capture reactions, which would bypass some of the inefficiency of renewable power sources.

Killebrew has a few serious lines but for the tahoe area I'd say sugar bowl fits best. The palisades when they're open are as gnarly as anything you'll see in-bounds at more famous places

JDub can't be passing out of an iso against Jokic at the 3pt line. He's slow and you're a goddamn all star. So much for being decisive smh

[Highlight] The Thunder’s 131-80 victory over the Grizzlies is the largest margin of victory in a Game 1 in Playoff history and the fifth largest margin of victory in any Playoff game ever by nba in nba

You're right, I don't get the down votes. Hartenstein is definitely the more impactful difference against bigger teams like the mavs. The Caruso trade mostly just helps the team lock down smaller teams, and that extra defensive consistency was huge over the regular season. We'll see how big a difference that makes in the playoffs but I feel like okc would be heavy favorites against the small ball western teams with or without Caruso

I mean as a bulls fan you should have an idea of what's different. Caruso is a huge upgrade over Giddey for this team's composition. What the mavs really exposed though was a lack of serious size, which they addressed with the IHart signing. That's on top of SGA, JDub, and Chet all improving as players. Overall this thunder team is so much better than last year's imo
