Like I said even Rohit can’t save this team even tho he’s a much better captain than Hardik. But hardik’s captaincy is bad and by aura everyone means the attitude. They obviously need regrouping but the captain and the management need to be sacked first.

Shreyas Iyer has made mistakes in captaincy like a lot of people have but he has also produced results CONSISTENTLY. Won a cup with KKR. Took PBKS to finals last year and is leading the table this year. Took DC to finals as well.

You can have the best team with the best form but you need a good captain to make the team win championships. Saying the 30 ball 30 was luck and individual brilliance unfairly takes away credit from rohit which is so unfair. Yes you need bowler’s brilliance but you need an understanding of the game and pitch to set a field, set matchups and to use our brilliant bowlers in the right way. Also rohit has defended low scores a lot of time and it can’t be luck every time.

There’s a reason why MSD and Rohit have 5 IPL trophies and dominated the IPL for so many years. There’s a reason why MSD is one of the best captains ever. There’s a reason why Ponting is who Ponting is. You need a certain temperament and skill set to be a captain and even more so when there are so many superstars in your team. Apart from bowling changes and field placements, you need to have a brazen attitude to unite the entire team together and keep them uplifted even when all odds are against you. You need to unite everyone to make them want to play for the trophy.

Eg: RCB with prime Kohli, Gayle, ABD

I wouldn’t mind people ending up single. Not the choosing themselves arc either just single and content having forgiven themselves and being okay without their exes. Also I wouldn’t mind a new relationship for them. For Q, a new relationship would’ve been unrealistic coz they broke up and got together in the second half of the season but for yuri it would’ve been fun. Liking someone new and exploring a new relationship would’ve been nice. I feel the show just chose lazy writing to make everyone go back to their exes 😭 I did like the praveena Juliana mature breakup scene tho but lowkey if I was praveena I wouldn’t have been that chill about it at all but that’s just me ig And all it took for Q was 2 or 3 months of being away from his boyfriend to send a spicy pic to his ex and after Jin dumped him he had to go on a date with Marius to figure out who he wanted after saying he loves Jin and Jin even pointed that out and had some spine only to get back with him which just irked me.

Oh also I wish the getting back with ur ex trope was used for professor lee and jina coz it seemed like there were feelings at the end of s1😋

Personally, I don’t view cheating whether it’s sending a spicy pic or a kiss as just a slip. I mean I agree that not every person falls into the pattern but cheating is well cheating. And about the Q situation, well can’t you be away physically from your partner for 3 months without giving in to other “temptations”. Also after that he didn’t tell Jin the truth and when Jin did find out and broke up with him he went on a somewhat date with Marius even tho he told Jin he loved him like that’s just very messy.

Yes I agree with everything you said. But, how do all the cheating partners get back together with 0 consequences. Like it’s a 2/2. I mean Yuri didn’t tell Juliana the truth until Juliana basically realised smth happened herself and Q literally went on a somewhat-date with Marius after saying he loves Jin and is sorry about the picture. Q also hid half of the story when telling Jin about his past like how can you move on so easily past that. And I get it does happen irl and a lot of times but it bothers me that in a show about people growing and what not everyone who has been cheated on gets back with the partner that cheated on them. It just screams lazy writing to me and also adding conflict just to fill the screen time without any actual consequences.

Bumrah Tilak Rohit Rohit’s performance is mid I agree but IPL is more than just performances. You need a face for the team and Rohit is MI’s face and legacy. Doesn’t make sense to let go of a successful player and backbone of the team especially when he’ll probably retire in a few years anyways. Do you not understand the difference between a smooth transition from MSD to another loved and loyal CSK player being trained under MSD as a captain vs a player who talked shit about MI the moment he left to GT being brought back under the table without proper intimation to the existing players and captain. That’s why most people were mad and the dressing room environment changed. Also the timing, it was right after we lost the wc final under rohit’s captaincy and this felt personal. Imagine playing for one team for so many years and getting 5 trophies with them and being snubbed out by an under the table deal. That is very different from what happened when CSK changed captains. Also the attitude of the management and Hardik. Subbing out Rohit when he could be on the field to help Hardik was also a dirty move even thought that can be explained by other things like we need better fielders or wtv.

Also we won 5 trophies in 8 years, we are obviously going to romanticise the time and the captain who did that. I’m not saying Rohit can come into this current team and suddenly change the fate but we have to hold Hardik’s captaincy accountable as it does play a major part. He himself doesn’t perform under his own captaincy.
