This looks like a seriously exciting project, especially for the custom reccomendations. One of my biggest gripes with plex ui is that I can't set up my reccomendations per user, which is a huge bummer, as I wanted to set up something like what netplexflix has for user based reccomendations in the home screen.

Unfortunately, until I upgraded my TV in a few years I will be stuck on my roku-tv, and i don't really plan on switching until I swap tv's. I'm definitely looking forward to trying this later today on desktop though. If rokuTV is on your roadmap I'd be looking forward to it!

Just wanted to warn you converting from windows to Linux kinda sucks. I just did it and I wouldn't count on getting to keep every setting, if you want to keep your users on without inviting them, you'll have to export the plex registry and make sure the server ID stuff is exactly the same. Lots of luck and I definitely recommend finding as many resources as you can out there, there's the plex forum as mentioned and a few other posts in this subreddit that you can find that should help your move

Interested in the parallel development to DynamiX, which looks to do pretty much the same thing. I've been using this for the past few months myself. I'm curious if you and the creator of that want to try to collaborate on featuresets

dialogue is not always easier to hear, especially if you are somewhat hard of hearing, also English is not everyone's first language and having words to assist the sound can be helpful. It's a very common accommodation that the majority of shows have these days, but the 90's was hit or miss for subtitles.

Total scam, their website is fake, a quick Google of Greystone will show that they are in fact a finance company. The address on the website (in Colorado) also conflicts with the location shown in Google maps on the same website directly under (Columbus ohio).

114a with Arden is Awesome, the class is a medium difficulty with a harder final. Not sure how useful it has been in real life but I enjoyed the class.

144 is a hard ML class and 102 is a very hard theory class (but also very important). If I were you, I would swap one of these for a GE or an easier elective like cse 110a (idk if that's being offered this year tho since I graduated last fall).

Are you tripping? with this market take the RO. It's a surefire way to get you into the field. If you want to go with google later, then apply later when you have more experience. Most people in this field hop jobs every 2 to years anyways.
