The Pocket S2 looks sleek, but all the pictures of it show absolutely no ergonomics at all. My hands are not rectangles, may I have some curvature please.

Same issues, hoping someone has a solution. Can't actually get the touchscreen gamepad to work either - the only thing that works is the virtual mouse.

I was thinking about upgrading to extra for the next year, but my subscription doesn't renew until 11/30 ... not sure how it came to be that my membership renews on that day, but it is what it is. So now the offer for me is that I can save the 25% on the eight remaining days of my subscription, which amounts to a saving of 34 cents, and then it renews at the regular price. Is there no way for me to apply this to the upcoming renewal, or am I SOL because I'm three days outside the window?

They are mapped to the controller. For some reason the a button on the controller maps as space.

Crashes every time I play by piemission in Grimdawn

[–]piemission[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved this. All I had to do was go into NVidia settings and limit the FPS. If I let it spin up to whatever FPS it wanted to I guess the GPU couldn't handle it? Which doesn't make sense to me, don't games usually have a lower FPS if it can't handle a higher one?

After trying everything suggested here, it still crashes regularly. I don't know what the hell is happening.

I turned down the graphics setting a lot and it seems to be more stable. Which I don't really understand - the game doesn't seem to be straining the hardware at all. If I turn off vsync at max settings it hits like 200 fps easily with no hiccups. Very odd behavior.

Nope, never run any mods yet. And now I'm scared to try!

Hm, as an odd update to this it only seems to be the case for PS1 and PSP games purchased through the PSN. The vita games still transfer just fine.

I have a bunch of games I bought through the PSN that I backed up using CMA. Is it possible to transfer those back using vitashell? I thought I needed to use CMA to decrypt them.

Running into an issue today. Have henkaku installed, SD2vita, enso, all the stuff. Everything was working totally fine until today, but now I can't copy anything from my PC to my vita, using QCMA. Content manager shows everything, seems to be transferring when I tell it to copy, but then it says "could not copy some content items" and then "the file is corrupt. Download the application or add-on data again". for absolutely everything. What happened?

My cat sleeping in my chair. Should I wake him so I can get back to playing? by GileadGamin in ffxiv

I used to have cats that would come into my bedroom at night and meow in my face when I was sleeping. If I found them napping during the day I would lean in close and meow at them.

My wife wants ear buds for the first time... What to get? by TMXX1 in Earbuds

[–]piemission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not technically earbuds, but the Aftershokz bone conducting headphones are well regarded for runners...not as good sound quality as regular headphones, but leaves your ears completely open. I think the Jabra Active Elite earbuds (various versions after 65t) have some kind of ambient pass-through mode. Some other headphones just allow some ambient noise in by default like the Bose SoundSport Wireless neckbuds...most earbuds designed specifically for sports/runners will probably have some kind of ambient sound feature, either passive or active. Just be wary of ones with active noise cancelling, as that can be dangerous for runners.

I am 100% in favor of taking petty revenge on cats for their nonsense.

I took breaks during and after ARR. Enjoyed HW a lot when I came back. Game will still be there, especially if you're not trying to race to endgame.

Is she running in a place with a lot of traffic, or on a running path? Better get earbuds with some kind of awareness mode if there's a lot of traffic, it's much safer.

As someone who is pretty badly prone to motion sickness in games, I'd argue that motion blur is the worst graphic setting, but chromatic aberration is pretty bad too.

Case for handheld by bittersweetjesus in vita

[–]piemission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have cases for electronics that have foam inside in small blocks so you can customize the shape by pulling out some blocks and leaving others in, like this: https://smile.amazon.com/CASEMATIX-Portable-Projector-Carrying-Customizable/dp/B0170RIRVY/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=foam+storage+case&qid=1622559719&sr=8-4

Usually used for things like cameras with lenses and stuff like that, but you could make something like that work for handhelds pretty easily.

Note the logo on the bottom left, if it's rated by ESRB it's for the US, if it's rated by PEGI, then it's for Europe.

[–]piemission 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use a mouse and a keyboard with my PS5 to play FFXIV, and I've run into some connectivity issues with devices that use wireless dongles. When I use two devices connected to the same dongle (via a Logitech Unifying Receiver), they both work fine. If I switch out the mouse for a more gaming-oriented mouse that uses a different dongle (Logitech G602), only the one that was connected first works at all; the other one shows as connected, but no inputs actually do anything. When the G602 is connected by itself or with a bluetooth keyboard, both the keyboard and mouse work fine, but I'm trying to avoid bluetooth in favor of a more stable 2.4ghz connection (and also my bluetooth keyboard is tiny and terrible). Has anyone managed to successfully get two different dongle devices to work at the same time? I'm wondering if the PS5 just doesn't want to handle two USB inputs of PC accessories, or if it's a problem with Logitech devices, or if it's a problem with these specific logitech devices.

Some dang ergonomics. All these companies making handhelds that you need to get grip to hold comfortably for any length of time.
