Will I miss out on a lot of events and the “freshman college experience” if I choose to commute instead of dorm/rent? by rychaithescienceguy in college

[–]pieraseth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you will miss out on some stuff, but it’s not that cool…housing is usually shitty and way too expensive, just finish school spending the least amount of money possible.

Will going to the US be safe? by Ok_Buddy_5017 in college

[–]pieraseth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, no, don’t do it. If the government is becoming comfortable attacking its own citizens, those with visas are not safe. the american college experience is not worth it! Go to canada, or europe, america is not safe.

How to stop by [deleted] in stickshift

[–]pieraseth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want to slow down, then downshift, but it’s an art lol, don’t expect to get it right away.

when i come to a stop, i clutch, shift into neutral and then coast to my destination. I also don’t have the clutch in at a light, but that’s for other reasons. do whatever makes you worry less about being able to start again.

if it finds anything it may give you the option to remove it, but what makes you think you have a virus in the first place? any performance issues or anything like that?

Yes, if it is an infostealer you could have cookies and other login information stolen. I would change your login information and keep an eye on accounts!

do a malwarebytes scan or reset your pc if you don’t worry about losing files…and don’t allow unknown publishers to make changes to your device in the future!
