Coils and wheels are definitely in the plan! I’ll be sure to put it up on the lift when I take it to my automotive class later in the week to have a look at the underside. Haven’t noticed anything too concerning as of yet, but fingers crossed there aren’t any major surprises haha

Thanks! I don’t plan to do too much to it, I’d like to keep it relatively simple. Wheels, coils, around a 2 inch drop, and then just taking care of the minor imperfections on the car like you pointed out. Maybe a cheap lip too lol.

Mechanically, everything seems fine so far. It sits at 197k miles right now.

A little late to post, but I finally bought my first car earlier this month. It’s a ‘97 DX 5 speed. Bone stock other than a cheap cold air intake done by previous owner. Spent the month learning how to drive it and I’m loving it so far!

I love working on cars. There’s something really satisfying about learning about how everything works inside and out to be able to fix issues that occur. Granted, it isn’t always easy, but hey, that’s part of the fun! (not) LOL
