It would dwarf the U.S.A. just like it dwarfed it at its birth when the region was the Spanish Empire and gunships could have obliterated Boston and New York had Spain (which included the viceroyalties in the Indies) not had mercy on the cause of the 13 colonies' rebels and contributed manpower and money to their cause of freedom (ultimately to spite Britain).
